This weekend will show a lot. They showed that they are capable of playing with --and beating-- anyone with their play last weekend in Denver. Can they take it to a struggling (but not as bad as their record) SCSU team at home?

I really like these top two lines, and I still think that Mismash and Pinto have another level that we'll see. Mismash has been getting lots of good looks but the points haven't come as much yet. They will as the season progresses I have a feeling. And Pinto will only continue to get better as he acclimates more to the league.

Sometimes his radio call is picked up for NCHC.tv, as Wilbur mentions in the post above yours. I remember that game as well, Wilbur.

No surprise, but Adam Scheel got the NCHC Goalie of the Week after his series against DU. Well deserved.

I wonder if both Caufield and Turcotte will be one-and-done?

I'd prefer the DU guys over Ciskie any day. The DU guys are clueless, but Ciskie just whines non-stop. He's unbearable.

Yeah they haven't had the toughest schedule, that's for sure. I don't even think BC is that good this year...they're at 7-4 currently but that's only because they just wrapped up a four-game stint against UConn and Vermont...two teams that have a combined 3 wins all season.

Denver started the season 8-0 and now haven't won a game in their last four since starting NCHC play.

Beat the Pios and the refs tonight. Not too shabby.
