Ha. Hey Notre Dame fans, travel to Ireland for this game, and then wear a crappy sweatshirt to the game. Don't pack your ND jerseys.
-
Haha, right? BC's top line is deadly...scores all three of their goals. Prov had such a good run there after their loss to UND, now they've lost 2 in a row.
-
Then Prov did the same thing to BC the very next period. BC ties up Prov at 2 with an EAG with 4min left.

You think McKamey is only getting car washes to come to UND?
-
Unacceptable. TM
-
Yeah, they could get a nice brother trio there if they all follow the same path.

Essentially just a boost to the destination city economy with the swarm of UND fans. But yeah, not very exciting to go to them with how the team has played recently in them.

Definition of a must sweep weekend right here. Need to get players healthy and get a couple wins to gain some confidence again. Get the PP and PK back on track. OMac nets a goal this series. Hobie and TJ each get a game. RMU swept Miami earlier this year (outscoring them 9-2 in 2 games) but just got swept by Sacred Heart last weekend. Go Sioux, take it to 'em.

You know special teams are struggling when two separate articles are written within a 3-day span about the PP/PK woes. https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/unds-power-play-woes-without-cameron-berg-continue-in-loss-to-denver https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/und-penalty-kill-continues-skid-in-loss-to-denver -

If I can get my hands on some tickets to ASU, maybe I'll see you two weekends in a row. Although still deciding on either WMU or CC series to come back to GF for...depends on what my son has going on in school. I'll let you know as soon as we figure that out! -

Suppose it depends on if Heil comes in 25/26 or 26/27. Assuming Hobie doesn't bolt due to lack of playing time, if Heil comes in next year then our goalie trio would be set. If he comes in 26/27 then there needs to be another goalie...either recruit (overager or WHL?) or portal. -

Yep. 7-1 or at worst 6-2 should be the goal before Xmas break. Then the boys have almost a month to get healthy and try to get a run going before ASU in Jan. -

I'm hoping Hobie gets a game each weekend in the next three. And then whoever has better numbers/performance in those 6 games gets the first start on Fri night against SCSU. -

I can't fight this feeling that you made a wise choice in your working for the weekend plans. -

Carle don't need no transfers! We'll have to look into the math on that one. -

This year, UND got three from the portal (TJ, MacDonald, Wilkie) and DU got two (Pohlkamp, Salminen). -

Yeah they're gonna be a tough out at the end of the season. UND responded very well tonight and played a much better game. Just didn't have the horses to get that tying goal. Time to win at least 5 of the next 6 games. BSU showed tonight that they are no push-over...they never are. Hopefully we can get some players back in the next couple weeks. -
BSU beats UMN, 3-1

Yep. Not sure which DU player it was that essentially was laying on top of Strinden in front of Davis for like 10-15 sec during play. Cmon Sioux, break this stupid DU winning streak so we don't have to hear anymore about it! -
BSU showing why they're a dangerous team if they score an early goal on you. They just go into a defensive shell the rest of the game. Still up 2-0 on UMN with 12min left in game. Chances of a late UMN PP?

DU is gonna try to lock it down. You knew there would be penalties called on UND after Carle made it a point to talk to the refs after period 1. Had two leads, but a stupid penalty for a PPG then a softie goal and now we're hoping to get a 3rd period comeback. We'll see. -

James looked like he was limping a little going down the tunnel at the end of the period...hope all is ok there. -
WMU / CC tied at 1 ASU up 1-0 on UNO Miami up 2-0 on UMD BSU up 2-0 on UMN
