  1. Thome with the start. Get it done boys!
  2. It's the only way those games will be played over 11k ft in elevation!
  3. So I guess we're hoping for a sweep against CC and then have DU & UMD split against each other...that would make it really hard for either of them to catch UND in the NCHC standings.
  4. Loveland is just below 5000’ elevation. Unless they moved the hockey rink to the top of the ski resort.
  5. Largest ever crowd to watch a hockey game at Amsoil tonight.
  6. Indeed! And back to #1 in the PWR after the Cornell tie and Mankato loss! Duluth is hovering right on the upper end of the bubble at #12. I wouldn't be upset if they happened to miss the tourney.
  7. Huge bounce back win. I didn't think they had it in them after they just laid down the last half of yesterday's game, but that was a much more complete effort. I love that they proved me wrong. And much better defensive effort. Great to see Thome and Tychonick do well after both sitting yesterday. JT needs to be in the lineup from here on I would think. He's so good offensively and with the puck that he can't be in the stands unless he's injured. That call on Adams right after the JT goal? C'mon. Pretty weak call at a really crucial time there. Love all the Duluth players getting "injured" and then shrugging it off or coming right back out. I can't stand that diving style of play and am glad that UND rarely does it. Wasn't it the NCAA enforcement video for diving/embellishment when they were cracking down on it, and it had like 2-3 highlights of UMD players? Good win, seems even bigger after last night's debacle, but a split on the road against a top 10 team is something you would take most weekends. And now the nice lead in the conference standings is back up again.
  8. From Schloss' rewind: Geez. Love watching them call the game but that's crazy.
  9. Too many breakaways, too many d zone meltdowns, and a couple that Scheel would want back. IMO with green goggles on, that first UMD goal was iffy to count after it was waived off on the ice and then all momentum was lost after the SHG. It’s a bit baffling that the d corps and Scheel are playing so poorly. Our defensive group is stacked. Hopefully they can right the ship, and quickly.
  10. There would have to be some major changes happening overnight for this team to turn it around. 6-2 UMD
  11. The Hain/Senden/Smith line was a combined -9 tonight, worst among all lines. The Adams line was -8, Weatherby line was E, and Pinto line was +4. http://www.collegehockeystats.net/1920/boxes/mmndndk1.j24
  12. I’d love to see it, but I’m just not seeing it.
  13. That giant cushion will be 2 points if UMD sweeps tomorrow.
  14. 5 unanswered goals after going up by 2. This is embarrassing.
  15. Good idea. That way UND can start tomorrow's game without a key player. We're already missing a goalie, why not lose another player?
  16. And there it is. Hopefully tomorrow goes our way.
  17. Did you see where that shot came from? There wasn't a screen either.
  18. What a horrible stretch after they went up 3-1.
  19. Thome time. That's 2-3 that he should have had.
  20. Duluth PPG. Nice, there's that 2 goal lead blown.
  21. What a surprise...a big hit thrown by UND and it's not only a penalty, but maybe a 5min? Not really surprising unfortunately.
