brianvf replied to Frozen4sioux's topic in Men's Hockey
From Schloss: Most consecutive winning seasons 21 - North Dakota 13 - Minnesota 11 - Providence 11 - MSU-Mankato 8 - Harvard 7 - Cornell 5 - UMass Lowell 5 - Quinnipiac 5 - American International -
Sure looks like that.

Hahaha! At least the games aren’t in Denver where DU gets all the calls.
-
The CC and DU fans are busing up from Colorado together. All 8 of them.
-
To their credit, they went 5-1 against ASU and DU, two teams that we went 0-5 against.
-
How clutch has James been the last couple weeks? What a noticeable jump in his play. GREAT to see.

Probably a lot, being that they are at every single practice and have more hockey knowledge than all of us.
-
Holy Cross up 2-0 at beginning of 2nd over RIT
-
If we were to win out the next 3 games, there's still a big chance that we wouldn't even enter into #4 seed territory.
-
That 3rd d-pairing is a little scary with Farmer's recent struggles. Hopefully Moore is rested to add a spark and can provide some offense. Surprised Matteo didn't get a spot in one of the three games. Go Sioux!
-
Geez both teams season on the line? You know this is going OT.

And then four more after that.
-
Oh yeah...and not as many UND penalties tomorrow night, please.
-
We'll need another strong performance tomorrow from him. Guessing UNO goes back to their freshman goalie as well. One of these teams will have their season end tomorrow night. Let's hope the road locker room is the one having a party after the game.
-
There was a 2nd period intermission segment on the UNO team. The first thing mentioned about why players head to UNO.... you guessed it, #culture
-
Def a penalty on that.
-
Dang. Damn impressive taking out WMU on the road!
-
I've seen multiple places that they are a lock. So they should be good regardless.
-
I’m worried about Moore and Costantini hitting the portal. I’d love if those two and Johnson all stayed but I’d bet we see some expected and some surprise portal entrants from the team. Hopefully we can add more than we lose.

The funny thing is...half the posters get mad that the lines change and the other half gets mad that they don't change enough. I'm glad that Senden and Hain were split up, but I'd rather OwenMc move up...if anything him and Senden should swap. And I'd rather Costantini than Ness....higher offensive upside. But here we go! Bring it home boys.

Ha! You could see before Christmas that it just didn't seem to be coming together for this team. The most frustrating part is that --on paper-- this team should be very good. I still watch every game and hope for the best, but at this point I don't think the miracle can happen. That said, I still have high hopes for next season...I think they have the potential to be pretty good assuming a couple pieces line up (Frisch/Gaber returning + goalie pickup). And they'll be under the radar after this season's debacle.

Delayed. They had one more players-only meeting. This one will stick.
