They’ll be a top 5 team again next year. And then the following year they’ll have Eiserman coming in to replace Cooley when he leaves. Gonna be a good test early when we play them this fall.

QU got the better player overall most likely, but I'm guessing that Britt was brought in to fill a role. And hopefully he does just that!

I think this is our final roster (as of 5/18/23) Going by a somewhat typical 26-man roster (15 F / 8 D / 3 G): Forwards (15) Fr - Emerson / Perron So - Blake / James / McLaughlin / Strinden / Montgomery (RS) Jr - Schmaltz / Kunz / Berg Sr - Gaber / Jamernik / Ness Gr - Albrecht / Johannes Defense (8) Fr - Benoit / Komzak / Wiebe / Livanavage So - Zmolek Gr - Pyke / Pehrson / Britt Goalies (3) Fr - Hedquist So - Johnson Sr - Persson The addition of Britt helps balance out the classes a bit too...can start to bring in much smaller numbers for portal additions and bring in solid recruits to replace the players that run out of eligibility. For next offseason, I could see just needing to replace the Graduate players listed above plus Gaber. So three forwards and three dmen, which we already have in the recruiting pipeline, plus maybe a stud addition like Hensler. I like the looks of this roster.

Looks like Gophers are returning a good chunk of their 5th year seniors for another run next season. Nelson was announced yesterday, (so) Close was announced today...I would guess that means Brodzinski will be announced tomorrow. Then maybe Cooley on Friday being that Arizona hockey is in somewhat of an unknown territory at the moment? They'll be an early favorite once again. They lost Knies and Faber, but have a stud in Moore coming in. Their defense won't be as dominant, but their forwards will definitely put up goals like this past year. Big series against them in October in GF, hopefully we can snag at least one win to help the PWR.

Yes, injury holding him out unfortunately. It was mentioned that the injury won’t impact him this fall at UND though.

Agreed, for sure! That recruiting class for fall of 24 is shaping up to be very impressive.

It'll be interesting to see how UW does next year. They have some good recruits and transfers coming in...both them and MSU should be improved..."on paper", that is.
