That's not true. We all wanted Cooley...we all wanted Mooney...we all wanted Fantilli (who knew that we were that close to landing all three). Some of them are toss-ups though. We might not get one player, but we get another that is just as desirable as a college hockey prospect.

Plus, we've been discussing and guessing that those two players were no longer commits for a few months now.

Solid couple days for the Goofs landing Pahlsson and Gruba from the USHL. Still a relatively quiet recruiting cycle for them.

Stinker of a first period + a few minutes, but UND was the much better team in the 3rd and OT. Just couldn't get another past Tracy, although they had their chances. HUGE test next weekend. Can this UND defense keep Celebrini in check? Kid has 8 goals already on the season. I know you should hope to win every game, but I'd think if we can get out of there with a split or better, that's a good momentum starter for the NCHC play the next weekend.

Looked like a couple of the Mavs players started shoving players. 2-3 Mankato players got pulled from the handshake line by the officials and pushed off the ice.
