Biondi was a surprise for me this season...he had such a good soph season the year before...then only 6 points in 17 games this year before his season-ending surgery. Same with Howard...you know the offensive upside is there but it wasn't on display much this season for a 1st round selection. On the flipside, Steeves made up for both of them by scoring more goals than Riese Gaber...doubt many would have predicted that. Losing Kaiser and Daschke from the back end will be big holes that they'll need to fill.

2023-24 University of North Dakota Hockey Season
brianvf replied to AlphaMikeFoxtrot's topic in Men's Hockey
Yes. Took me a bit to find it. Go to schedule and it’ll show all the full games and highlights for every game. -
Zero. UMD didn’t win any titles while playing against UND.
-
Obviously Sandy doesn't care, not only will UMD not win a natty or make the NCAA this season...but they also didn't have the highly coveted winning season.
-
-
Fair to strong.
-
Sweet bejesus. Alrighty. I prefer UND’s overall history. You like Michigan. No worries!
-
These pretzels are making me thirsty.

Haha, yes. The rest of my post still stands. Michigan won their first 6 titles before UND won their first in 1959. So, since 1959, Michigan has won 3 titles and UND has won 8. And, if we're looking at consistency... UND's longest stretches without making the NCAA tourney was 10 years (69-78) and 6 years (91-96). Michigan's longest stretches without making the NCAA's was 12 years (65-76) and 14 years (78-90). So...once again, if we’re comparing these two programs over the last 10/20/30/40 years, I’d take UND every time.
-
If you’re looking at those stats, you should factor in how many of those above Michigan numbers were before UND even had a program going. All of Michigan’s stats are inflated due to their early success when the number of programs competing were very small. If we’re comparing these two programs over the last 10/20/30/40 years, I’d take UND every time.

He put up monster points in the NAHL...60 goals and 104 points in 59 games, but it hasn't translated to the college game as of yet. And then he only played in half of LSSU's games this season...not sure if he was injured or just couldn't crack the lineup. Nothing of note on there yet. Only two listed. Neither appear to be our savior for next season.

Well that's certainly helpful. Thanks! Seven players from Brown already in the portal. And three from Holy Cross, which is still playing. That seems odd.

2022-23 University of North Dakota Hockey Season
brianvf replied to Frozen4sioux's topic in Men's Hockey
From Schloss: Most consecutive winning seasons 21 - North Dakota 13 - Minnesota 11 - Providence 11 - MSU-Mankato 8 - Harvard 7 - Cornell 5 - UMass Lowell 5 - Quinnipiac 5 - American International -
Sure looks like that.
-
Hahaha! At least the games aren’t in Denver where DU gets all the calls.
-
The CC and DU fans are busing up from Colorado together. All 8 of them.
-
To their credit, they went 5-1 against ASU and DU, two teams that we went 0-5 against.
-
How clutch has James been the last couple weeks? What a noticeable jump in his play. GREAT to see.
