Holy smokes! Why didn't anyone tell Davis that UND isn't allowed to score on breakaways? -

False....our tradition is not having any tradition. -

Why any first round NHL talent would want to go to UND right now is baffling to me. The fact we have two is absolutely crazy. -

At least we have Tyson-Paul to look forward to tonight. David Carle is like prime Tyson and Berry is like Michael Spinks. -

But our coach is nicer and is more appealing to old grandmas on Facebook. -

LET'S F'ING GO! PUCK THE FIONEERS. Need to curb stomp these guys. I'm pumped. -
Thank you for considering us power brokers, that's awfully kind. Compliment accepted. Here'd be my criteria: 1) Sweats minimally 2) Is kinda nice, but not too nice 3) Doesn't try to circumvent the university when creating new logos or wordmarks that have the possibility of being profited from privately 4) Can win NCAA tournament games with his own recruits, not someone else's 5) Knows how to recruit a goalie that isn't a one year rental from the transfer portal There's probably more, but that's a good start.

We won a title under Berry, but we all had so much more fun under Hak than Berry outside of that one year that was NINE seasons ago now. The only guy Brad beat in the NCAA tourney since then is now going to be a Division 2 team. Pitiful for a program like ours.

I've said as much as well...time to diversify the gene pool. James is probably too old to hire anyways, but he's been away from UND for so long that I don't know that he's really more of the same genes as what we've had. Blais worked for Gasparini, Hak worked for Blais, Berry worked for Hak. But, James has not really been connected to the university like the others and I think his coaching experience in major juniors while having college experience could be a good combination. He was a former WHL coach of the year fairly recently as well IIRC.

James Patrick? From Winnipeg, so can connect with Manitobans. Coaches in British Columbia for Victoria, so should be able to connect with BC and other western Canadian kids, is an alum so has ties to UND, and has had a long and successful career in the NHL. He checks a lot of boxes, but I can't say know much about his coaching ability, other than he's spent a lot of time as an NHL assistant and has some decent tenure as a WHL coach now.

Nice weekend against a sub-par familiar team. Now let's see what we've got against a very good familiar team.
-
Holy moly, what a goalie!
-
I pre-emptively posted that.....good news is I was wrong! Four more years!
-
I blame Brad Berry on the election results.

No, they quickly swept that whole thing under the rug.
-
Congrats, he's a former player, let's keep him forever then. No reason to see what else is out there I guess. He certainly hasn't done anything scummy like go through multiple layers of protection (including other former players and family members) to hide the fact that he was using a logo/wordmark that had no association with UND.

My scope is bigger than the small populace of SiouxSports these days.

Then why do many disavow any criticism of the program, no matter how ugly things look? They clearly like what they see.
