  1. Except Patterson
  2. I like your sig, but it's a little big. I can't believe I actually shook that kids hand too....
  3. Good call on the FCSC. I've had the package for a couple years now and it's awesome for watching a bunch of extra college hockey throughout the year. I just set for them to record. Thanks for the heads up! Now all we need is for the Ralph to upgrade to HD, hehe.
  4. This is easier to say since the Sioux won, but I'll say it anyways.... Being a WI born Sioux student/fan (with a lot of love for all things Badgers except hockey since I never grew up a hockey fan), I despise the Gophers. I love every time they lose no matter who it's against. However, that's just rivalry. I love it every time my favorite team plays them, because I always feel my team will be the better team. I love the hatred. I don't go out of my way to trash talk with anyone, and can usually find fans from the opposing team who are actually good people who you can talk a good conversation with. There are dumb fans from both sides, and good fans from both sides. I don't think anything that goes on during a game is wrong, I just think its rivalry. I have nothing against any Gopher fan and hope that things never change. Imagine if everyone loved each other and we all got along. How boring would it be when each team matched up? Let's enjoy these while we can. They'll have their games where they will beat us like we did them. All we can ask for now is that the team realized what they can accomplish when they leave everything on the ice for 120 minutes.
  5. I really would love to sit down and listen to each broadcast, but every time I record a Sioux game, it seems like they lose. So, I didn't take the chance in jinxing them.
  6. Freshmen and sophomore forwards are really starting to take over, and man, they are exciting to watch. Every line created oppurtunities. There wasn't one player that looked like they weren't playing up to snuff, except for the brown players out there. For those that don't know. Jonesy had one of his patented "rage blackouts." When he gets riled up to those extremes, he literally blacks out and can't remember what he's even doing until after the fact. Another rage blackout he had was last year in Wisconsin during the regular season when he was taking on two guys at once.
  7. There's more to the story, which I'm not going to post here, but Finley had every right to pull him out with what Wheeler said. Any one of you with half a brain would have done the same thing if you were in Finley's skates either. But, those that don't know stories always have the loudest reactions.
  8. I feel like a 6 year old. Wouldn't it be nice to go to a school where they treated their students like the adults that they are...? I've stood in line for many hours for most home games the last few years and have never seen anything that go on that needed assistance from any outside agency. All the students are good at policing themselves. Everyone is too fricken cold to get in trouble.

There's two things I can thing of. 1) He's got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell...but our cowbell has long since left the Ralph. 2) Doctor Doctor, give Don the news, he's got a bad case of loving Sioux Get well soon Don.
  10. Friday: UM 10 UND 1 Saturday: UM 8 UND 0
  11. I hate to burst your bubble, but I don't think anything can top a Minnesota-Wisconsin rivalry, at least on the western side of the college hockey hemisphere. I will give it second best though.
  12. Seeing that the Beavs are prolly better than Tech or MSU, Sioux get swept.
  13. The real question is now.... Can we beat MTU? What a sad question... I would love to beat Red (again). I hate Michigan. I hate BC. I hate Minnesota. I hate Denver. Our chance to beat Michigan is gone for this year's regular season. Our chance to really improve on our OOC record against quality opponents is shot. This year will take a miracle unlike the previous years for us to make a serious run at a playoff spot. It's by no means impossible, but we have to play like a top tier team through the WCHA tourney. I'd hate to have to rely on the conference tourney to make the playoffs, but it's really looking like that will be our only option.
  14. 2-0 Bag stays.
  15. We really can't lose this one. It's a long game yet, but I wish we had a little separation at this point.
  16. He is a CCHA ref, and he is a Michigan alum....that may explain a lot.
  17. You can have your Miller Lite's right now, I'll keep drinking the best beer on the planet...Spotted Cow baby! Go Sioux!!!! (Everyone cheer for my internet connection too! It stinks!)
  18. Thanks Ryan. And about the pic....I dunno, since I put it up, we haven't done so bad (knock on wood)
  19. I've never listened to radio online before, is there anything available in that respect? I didn't see a link for it on fightingsioux.com (yet). Thanks...sorry I'm an idiot, haha.
  20. I'm at home in WI right now and will be until the 30th. I actually wanted to go to the GLI since it's only a 7 hr drive or so, but we keep getting piled on with snow and I'd hate to have to drive there or back in any poor driving conditions. So, is there any way I can pick up the game here in WI? Bob, how do you watch?
  21. The only thing might be academics. I know that's why Riley Nash chose Cornell over us (moreso than being with his brother). He wanted to have a backup plan if anything ever went wrong with his career.
  22. That's a no-brainer if it were up to me.
  23. I have a dog, Hobey (not Hobey Baker, just Hobey, but it's where I got it from ), and he doesn't touch anything that isn't his. It's really surprising to be honest. I always expect the worst out of dogs, but I got lucky with him. Glad your dog is ok, I'd be devastated if anything happened to my little guy.
  24. Applied Calc 146. 5:30 with Halcrow
  25. At forward, #29, out of Moorhead, Minnesota, Christopher Vande Velde.
