  1. We pretty much dominated most of the game. We had a couple really bad breakdowns and a little bad luck and UNH capitalized on it. We looked a lot better than we had been recently and looked like we were ready to jump start our post season run again. I don't think the injury excuse is going to work in this case.
  2. So, what am I gonna win?
  3. I haven't seen the 07 game in awhile, but if you rewatch the 08 game, Chay was forcing way too much and out of position just like many games this year. Joe was all alone stopping 2 on 1's half the time. Chay wasn't a defenseman yet in 07 anyways, so they weren't even a D-pair yet. I'm not saying Joe is perfect, but it takes two to tango.
  4. Well.....we did win a conference title....but also failed in the playoffs. I'd like to see more green banners despite white banners being nice.
  5. Conference standings next year: 1) Denver 2) Minnesota 3) Wisconsin 4) North Dakota 5) Duluth 6) CC 7) Anchorage 8) Mankato 9) St. Cloud 10) Mich. Tech 6-10 were all hard to pick. All of them could shuffle within those positions. Tech was bad this year, but very injured. Someone has to be last, so I felt that's where they'd be. St. Cloud doesn't have the guns. UAA has shown improvements big time with Shyiak (sp?). CC is losing a ton, but they still should be good enough to finish ahead of the bottom feeders. Mankato is losing a few good players and will be tough for them to rebound from a promising season. We don't have anyone that clearly stands out as the best team for next year I don't think depending on who leaves and stays for Denver, but they look the most solid for sure. Minn and Wisc will reload as usual. Duluth will be good, but still not good enough to jump them into the top 3 or 4. North Dakota is just kinda there. Not pushing for a top spot realistically, but staying ahead of the lesser teams.
  6. I understand your point, but either way, we are not playing against BU today.
  7. I could sit here and explain why I picked Miami for a long time, but won't. However, I don't see how anyone could have picked AF or BSU. Those two had me fooled.
  8. I tried to figure that one out myself...my initial thought was an offside. I could have rewound it and looked but was too disappointed....doesn't matter if it was b/c we aren't moving on either way.
  9. Here was the auction list for this year, notice only former players and not many being sold compared to the last couple years? 10. The NCAA and because it's a rule. Hence the reason there were about half the normal game worn jersey auctions at the Ralph this year.
  11. I guess that makes us the Bash-Defense Brothers, haha. Finley didn't have his best game, but for one defensive pairing to be on the ice for FIVE opposing goals, something wasn't right. If you really break down the plays where Joe looks like the bad guy, you will find that 2/3 of the time it starts with #5, Chay Genoway. All these people that think Chay even has a chance at the next level really confuse me. I have no idea what they see in him in a professional league. Hak should move Chay back to forward next year. I think he could be a BAMF next year not having as much defensive responsibility. Chay for Hobey next year as a FORWARD!
  12. They didn't do an online auction this past summer. So, not sure if they will this year. The website was fightingsiouxhockey.net if I do believe. UND got a slap on the wrist for selling jerseys of current players, so jerseys have been limited over the past season.
  13. Lots of time left. Notre Dame was down 2-0 in the CCHA title game against a much better Michigan team and won 5-2. ND is kinda peeing themselves right now, they look like they're pressing a bit much despite being in control of the puck about 2/3 of the time.
  14. BSU 2!!!!! ND 0!!!!
  15. Give it a couple years. When Joe is in the big show looking good, people will be like "remember when Joe played here? We sure miss him." I'm glad Joe is leaving for his sake. If people really watched the game, watch how out of position Mr. Chay "Awesome" Genoway is 90% of the game leaving Big Joe hanging.
  16. BEMIDJI STATE 1 NOTRE DAME 0 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 18:18 left in the first
  17. How is OSU not weaker than BU? BU didn't have a guaranteed victory going into the game, but if BU took care of business, they weren't going to lose. They are talented from top to bottom. OSU has a couple decent lines, but they are still the weaker of the two teams no doubt.
  18. You are my new best friend. I agree 100%. I was stunned when the BWW last night erupted in joy when UMD scored with .8 left. Was has Duluth done for us? They don't give us anything. They are a rival and an enemy. I hope Miami pounds 'em.
  19. Former Sioux Hunter Bishop adds one against BU.
  20. There's no team that isn't beatable. BU may be playing a team that's scared and intimitaded and less talented, but BU is doing exactly what a great team should do to a weaker opponent.
  21. BU is pretty decent. 5-0
  22. YAWN...you're boring. I like siouxsports.com anarchy myself.
  23. Finley missed half the season with a concussion.....lots of minutes?!
  24. Genoway and Finley on the ice for 5 out of 6 goals. Tell me why they were on the ice at all?
  25. PS, Genoway and Finley on for 4 goals now.
