I figured out where our friend Jeff Dubay has been

Looks like an offside at 2:46 that led to a goal for Minnesota. The guy leaves the puck out of the zone, but skates in before the puck crosses the line...all while in control of the puck. That'd be an offside, correct? -
Brad touched on this a couple weeks ago. They are names of well-respected former players who became very accomplished as all-around good people, not necessarily for their hockey stats. The names on the jerseys correspond to which number the player wore.

The guy looks like he skates around with a knife stashed in his pads somewhere. He got in trouble for sexual misconduct and lying.

For a long time, the Bruins were the thing to see in Boston. Even during the Celtics hay-day, they didn't rock the house like they did for the Bruins. Red Sox were still popular, but there wasn't talk of curses and stuff like there was in the past decade and a half and it wasn't amplified to the point it was a few years ago. -
Both Karl and Eddie were at the games this weekend too, which was cool to see!

Goehring had one hell of a long freshman year... Sorry, couldn't resist.

Hopefully we didn't crush whatever CC had going with that OT goal today.

Nothing scheduled for this upcoming series. Nothing on the FCS channels, Big Ten Network, or CSTV either.

I had a pretty good video down by the ice, and accidently deleted it of course.

Hopefully it's your computer! What happened to the win out and have these great odds at a #1 seed?!? I know we tied yesterday, but that shouldn't drop our odds terribly.

Boy, sweeping and dropping a spot wouldn't be very fun.

I'm on both sides of the fence. What makes the trip to UAA and back difficult is the sleeping patterns. I believe it was Watty that said he couldn't sleep right until about Wednesday. It just throws things off a bit. Is it going to be the end of the world going to UAA? Absolutely not. It certainly isn't helpful though. The whole thing is slightly overblown, but there is something to it, I think.

I hope the short week after a hard-fought weekend doesn't slow the team up too much. It's been a tough couple of weeks. First the long road trip to Anchorage and back where we had to work pretty hard, and then this weekend. No time to let up.

He's a party ANIMAL, c'mon, everyone knows that.

Just got back.... Two high-flying games where we didn't always look the best, but at times looked great. That's hockey, it's a game of momentum. You just have to weather the storm when it comes, even though it'd be nice to be the dominant team from start to finish. If it wasn't a team of CC's calibre, I'd be a bit more worried, but to get 3 points against a team as fast and good as them, with a great goalie is awesome. It was so nice to be able to blow the roof off the building to cap the weekend before heading to Madison. The next two games will not be gimmes and the guys will have to work big time to pull out a win. If they play their game, they'll get the 2 points they need. This is just one more baby step to the ultimate goal, so let's keep riding the wave.

Depends on what year you are talking I believe.

It's just a Blackhawks logo, you can find that anywhere.

Actually the game kept swinging back and forth in the 3rd period momentum wise. After SCSU tied it up, they were dominating. Then with a few minutes left, the tides turned and Denver was the team that was buzzing. Luckily they didn't get one and time ran out. Once the OT started, it basically took one opportunity not long into the OT before Lasch stuffed it, and all it takes is one at that point. The SCSU announcer was right, they looked pretty bad the last couple minutes, but right before that, they were the good looking team.

You're right, Joe made an error on Rau's goal, but Genoway deserves triple the blame overall on the night, in my opinion, because of how out of position he was most of the time. He leaves Joe hanging trying to stop odd-man rushes, and that's where half of the blame the Joe-haters give out comes from. It's hit or miss. Sometimes Genoway plays more controlled and more responsible defensively and it pays off. Here's what happens. Genoway likes to pinch and get in deep and be a part of the offense. His great speed allows him to make up for this against most teams because he can turn on a dime and get back. But, against fast/skilled teams like CC and BC, he gets burned and can't get back like he normally would. Joe, who is a big, lumbering defenseman, is the one who has to make up for this, and people put the blame on Joe because he doesn't prevent every fricken odd-man rush. This also tends to happen when Chay forces too much from the point...resulting in blocked shots going back the other way again. He's been better about that though since mid-December. Genoway does wonders for our offense, but we're at our best when he plays the position he's assigned. He's still effective playing a controlled offense, and it pays off defensively. I'm really sick of the Joe haters. I'm glad Joe is graduating so he doesn't have to get quadruple the negative blame than he deserves. Joe's not perfect, but Joe's been pretty damn good for having the tough luck he's had this season with the concussion and all.

No fukkin way did SCSU just beat Denver....I can't believe my eyes.

I remember that one. I'm all for anything, and it's pretty unique, but it's a bit long. Our student section is one sandwich short of a picnic basket, so the simpler the better.

Gophs gonna win...EN goal by HO-full. 5-3.

If anyone can make it 4-4 though, it's Kangas.
