For a game this year, I went and sat with my boss. I heard comments the whole game from people in all directions about LaPoint. One really sticks out where this woman said she skates like a monkey. Where I work we talk hockey quite a bit when we're not busy and everyone rips on him in those discussions as well. Then, add in SS.com comments and it adds up. Nick Mattson will be the next on the list, IMO.

Twas a joke. I never predicted the Sioux to start like that either, which was the surprise. Also, where'd all the love for LaPoint come from all of a sudden? His whole career here before he hurts his ankle no one said anything good about him. Now, it sounds like he was an All-American. I like LaPoint, but before he got hurt I recall being one of about 3 people to actually like his play.

Duncan was a huge loss. Also, it's hard to replace seniors with freshmen, even if the freshmen might be very good. We'll see. I hope I'm wrong.

I love VV, but I think a few of our members are putting a bit too much stock in him. Not sure why, but I don't see as much in our returning players as some others do. I'm not saying we'll be bad, or even mediocre, but I don't think we'll be the team to beat unless our freshman come in and dominate.

I don't discount what Lee did if it's true, but Cherry is a d-bag to the max. If it ain't Canadian, it ain't good. He's just a loud-mouth know-it-all that likes to hear his own voice (just like me ). He should learn to dress and act with some more class. A lot of his stuff he says is actually pretty true and he says stuff no one else has the guts to say, but a lot of the stuff he says is just dumb and immature as well.

I agree. Ovechkin's was sweeter. I don't feel bad though, because it makes up for JT getting robbed last year.

The Miami thing I had my logic and karma. Others were logic and just gut feelings. I got smoked in the midwest bracket, but only had one wrong the whole rest of it. Call it luck or call it skill...

I know BSU was the #16 seed. The original poster said "the 16th (and final) seed." If they are one and the same, why did he repeat himself? When I hear final seed, I think last team in, and OSU was the last team in.

The final seed went to Ohio State. BSU was the lowest ranked team in the tournament.

You have to take these types of posts with a grain of salt. I don't pay much attention to them because 1) No one knows for sure about how they'll perform here, 2) many people think they know but really are clueless This isn't a knock on anyone in particular, but I have differing opinions a lot of time myself.

I like ESPNews more than SportsCenter, by a lot. But there's always something better on anyways...and News isn't in HD (at least not through MidCo if it is). It makes sense to have ESPNU as well considering that we have BTN, FCS (3), and CBSCS. I wouldn't mind having both News and U, but if I had to pick one, it'd obviously be U.
