My understanding is that the coaches are comfortable with Heidlbaugh at QB, so they are waiting to see how the other positions shake out a bit more before making a move on a QB.

Also, new offeree Christian Angulo was offered be and commited to Cincy.

Wilde committed to SDSU tonight.

Looking into it I don't believe Austin Smith signed with UND. His dad is still putting him out there to coaches so think that ship has sailed. Also, I don't believe Smeltzer is in the cards for UND.

I believe Smith is coming next weekend. Dulin committing could be a factor in getting Smith on board. Also, heard that we may only see a PWO QB in this class other than Heidlebaugh, if any. Staff appears to be confident in him there. But surprises do happen.

There is also a safety from Princeton MN on campus although I dont believe he has any type of offer unless he received something tonight. Also don't believe Key is going to be on campus until tomorrow based on some info I just got.

We had another commitment tonight per Gigli. Either Carter or Key I would hope.

Offeree RB Tyree Range does not have UND in his final 3. Not sure if we were still pursuing due to the commitments we have, but I think he was a long shot anyway. Down to Colorado State, San Diego St and Idaho.

Georges, Arnell and Arrington I know are on campus. Jawon Johnson was supposed to be as of yesterday. Haven't heard about the OL, but assuming Camy is there by now (I don't believe there was ever anything official on Smith, although I assume he signed since his father mentioned he did).

Sounds like JUCO safety Jawon Johnson is signing with UND today. Must be a mid-year if he's signing. Not sure on any other offers, but did sign with Idaho out of HS originally.

Sometimes when they say they got an offer from North Dakota, who's to say they really mean UND when it's someone from Texas. We'll see how it plays out.

No - that's why when something is heard it typically isn't shared unless it's accurate. It's possible a Gopher RB might be in contact with the coaches, and someone mentioned Parks as a potential one. So while it may be true, it's complete and total speculation.

I think we heard two different stories. I thought we offered him while it was just Freund and Kyle Myers, but again I could be wrong.

The thing about Parks is I believe we could have had him last year if we had wanted - I understand he was set to visit UND the last weekend before signing day and the new staff cancelled it. I could be incorrect and it was him who decided against us, but my understanding is that it was the other way.

I believe Freund is out in Michigan as well.
