He was all set to visit UND but I believe UND cancelled before the visit. I believe the staff is fairly split on him so we'll see what materializes. There are other RB's that are being looked at

There are a couple that are expected to visit in the next couple of weeks. Not sure on likelihood on any of them landing.

Norberg is listed at LB again. And Nevermann - well, I've heard a few as to why but not sure the truth. Think Wyoming blocking him playing this year had something to do with it. Maybe he'll change his mind......

Simmons injury was a career ender. I'm hoping that the FBS well that we're looking at isn't dry. Haven't heard any news on that front about the couple that the staff was after for a while.

I hadn't heard that per se, but I can think of another reason why I don't want that as a nickname. Plenty of other fan bases would love to change it so it means "Missing male anatomy" if you catch my drift.

I'm curious how some of those made it through but others like Norse and Roughnecks didn't. I'm in the same boat as George - getting pretty nervous about what's still out there.

As I read that article initially I started thinking that Badlanders and Sodbusters weren't the worst things in the world and could grow on me. But agree that they aren't in my top 3 either.

Really nothing on the list thus far that I can really see would work in my eyes. Oy vey......

I haven't had the time to look through everything on my own, but other than Norse or Norsemen (which the later didn't make the consideration list apparently) I'm coming around to Roughnecks, Reapers and Berzerkers. Personally, I want a short one or two syllable name, or one that can easily be shortened to one or two syllables (which I'm not really feeling 'Zerkers for Berzerkers).

I've heard that he's unlikely. Though I know they are targeting a few CBs that are transferring.

Wish I had some news to share, but I don't. There are a couple FBS backs that we have interest in as noted by the SFI guys. If I had to guess, I think we will snag one of them.

I'd heard we had the potential to get said transfer, but didn't know that it was blocked. That's rediculous.

They have invited him to campus and have been in contact with him. Very good player. I'm guessing he will get some bigger offers after camp season.

i will say the name I heard is not on the Spring roster.

Parks was discussed at one time I believe for a mid year transfer but ended up not happening. Believe it is a LB/FB currently on campus.
