I didn't see the play so won't comment, but I do have something for the Bison fans saying move on. A couple years ago, an SDSU player hit I believe Leevon Perry low and ended up hurting his knee. The outrage lasted for a year until they played again, with multiple Bison fans saying that someone should target the SDSU player as retribution and some of the Bison faithful calling the SDSU team, coaches, etc dirty because of that one play. I guess my point is that UND fans will vent a little bit, just like you guys would if the shoe was on the other foot.

With the pass defense playing like this it may be a long day.
-
Not sure how that happened - thought I was outside the quote box.

I think it's a good first half and then Wentz and company wear down the defense (due to the offensive ineptitude) in the second half. 31-13 Bison win.

So, I thought I saw somewhere (too lazy to look) that we also have green pants. Are we going to go with the all green look at home or is it more of an alternate pant that may be worn a couple times a year? Anyone know?

I did notice, assuming that Drake plays the same starters, that there D-line starters only get up to 264 pounds (range from 230 to 264). So, our offensive line should be able to get really good push against them.

Such a trap game! First win over an FBS team (coached by the former coach of a rival down the road) in strong fashion, and getting a potentially vulnerable NDSU a week later - UND needs to come out strong in this game and remove all doubt that there is any chance of an upset. I know that Bubba will do his best to make sure no one is looking forward, but to me it is such a huge risk for this week. I believe that Drake is a bit more of a passing team this year - need to get to the QB early and often and make life miserable. I was very impressed with what I heard about the O-line play in Wyoming (even their own posters used the word "manhandled"), so I think the offense will get the ground game going and I look to Studsrud to put forth another solid game. This game should not be close, but after losing to Sioux Falls once (and almost losing to them again a few years later - I know the team culture is quite a bit different now) I always get nervous for these games.

he just signed on to the practice squad with the Pack.

I had the right score but wrong team.....oops
-
I could use updates. Keep me coming.

I also prefer them off

is there any possibility he tries to get a medical redshirt and sit out the year?

With SDSU building their IPF and the renovations to their stadium, you have to wonder their appetite to follow suit on this. I expect they will. USD I'm not so sure on, and I would wonder if they would offer in basketball to keep up there but not in football. As hard as it was to recruit against NDSU, it has now become even more difficult if you don't follow suit.

In addition to Miller, I would have expected Jace Hellman and Grant Alpin to be fighting for 2nd string, as well as Justus Merz to be in on the third team. Surprised to see a couple second teamers stay in the third team when those guys would/should be in there.

UND is mentioned as being interested in Dane Warp, QB out of Havre, MT. Good article and seems like he has the potential to be a solid addition to wherever he ends up. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2529113-diamond-in-the-rough-qb-recruit-dane-warps-fight-for-a-scholarship-offer?utm_source=cnn.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=editorial

I'm guessing we'll see a steady rotation of Tank, Woodsmall, and Greer (Noah Johnson or Austin Cieslak if Greer isn't ready).

Offerees Brett Borske and Rhashaun Epting both committed to Western Michigan this weekend.
-
might be that Vashon Tucker should be joining team tomorrow.

I've heard the comparisons of Dulin to Golladay coming in. I think as long as Dulin is willing to put in the work there's no reason for him not to be successful.
-
It is Helgren. Great addition!
-
Yep. Don't know our chances though.

UND has offered Alex Cloyd from Omaha. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/1777374/alex-cloyd
