  1. Just started following him yesterday. Before signing with Navy out of high school, had offers from Southern Illinois, Florida A&M, Tennessee Tech and Presbyterian. When they sign with an academy and go to their prep school, I don't believe their NCAA clock starts ticking, so he should be able to redshirt if needed.
  2. He's one of the best in the nation at this level. Absolute snub.
  3. So I was searching online for some fighting hawks stuff to purchase - couldn't find any. Didn't look too hard though. Where can one find some stuff to order online?
  4. Bolinske is going to attend UND. Assuming PWO.
  5. A couple updates to our Wiki offers. Rashon Davis verballed to EMU and Paddy Devlin verballed to SDSU. Also, I think my main concern with this class is the lack of DL. I think we need another big boy in the middle, and probably one DE that we can develop. EDIT: Oh, and Matt Thompson decided he wanted to be close to home and went with D2 University of Indianapolis.
  6. I really hope that Haas has the ability to play safety. My own personal feeling is that he could be Kelly Howe-like with his size and athleticism. Although it's really nice to have some position flexibility with him. Jaxson Turner kind of reminds me of Jake Disterhaupt, so he hopefully he can have the same kind of production as an OLB. Isaac Leppke - great athlete that I thought had the potential to come in as either a partial scholarship or PWO. Has a track offer from Iowa, and an offer from the University of San Diego for football. I'm guessing he could still be a potential if they do decide to give a scholarship to a QB or if Bolinske from Minot isn't going to be a PWO candidate. It does appear that he is very interested in UND.
  7. I believe he visited last year as a freshmen at Laney.
  8. I'm guessing he was a soft commit as he never announced his commitment to UND on social media as far as I remember (don't have access at work). On a different note, I'm in the camp that doesn't understand the hate for kids that switch their commitment. While I believe that a kid shouldn't commit unless they are fairly certain they will honor that commitment, it is a huge decision they are making and if they do change their minds I don't fault them for that.
  9. Hartford has flipped to SDSU it appears.
  10. Tobin was fairly high on the wish list.
  11. I believe that the Rugby Rifle will be the primary backup next year.
  12. Don't disagree and hope my information is wrong or the coaches change their mind.
  13. Have heard a few things about not looking for a scholarship QB. That's not to say they couldn't change their minds, but I've heard PWO type QB is likely it. EDIT: And, main reason is what Gundy is saying above. The Rugby Rifle was really developing during the year.
  14. Don't be surprised is there is no scholarship QB this year.
  15. Wouldn't be surprised to see a couple commits after this weekend as well.
  16. Exactly - this is something that is very important to the coaching staff.
  17. I've heard some not so flattering things about Mr. Nielsen, but he definitely is a good coach. If he accepts USD will definitely improve.
  18. Based on what I had heard Holm was our number 1 CB on the board and Chinn was number 2. So we got who we wanted.
  19. SDSU has also offered Hartford it appears.
  20. my guess too. Looking for some confirmation.
  21. One current commit and three others (two with offers). Guessing we could see one more commitment after this weekend.

    2016 Season

I could see him being a safety with a role as a WR on the offense in certain situations. Agree that he doesn't seem to have the knack for a RB, but if they keep him there maybe that will come.

    2016 Season

Couple random things: I'd heard Arnell had discussed a medical redshirt - not sure the likelihood but seems like he'd have a good shot. Bowling Green could be a different team. Even though he's denying it (and the UCF job, where he was heavily rumored, went to Scott Frost), Dino Babers could very well end up elsewhere. It could depend on who they hire to see if they are still the same high octane offense. Looking forward to next year

    2016 Season

One thing to consider when thinking about Bowling Green next year and the potent offense - with all the openings around the country it's not too far fetched that Dino Babers may not be at BG next year and depending on the replacement their offense may not be as high octane.
