  1. I'm curious why you're so bitter about this. No animosity from me to you, just genuinely curious.....
  2. AGS has UND at number 20. https://www.anygivensaturday.com/showthread.php?240432-AGS-Poll-Results-WEEK-12-2019-SEASON
  3. UND didn't move in my bracket this week. After the Weber State game, UND was firmly "in" in my mind assuming they win the last two games by more than 2 touchdowns, showing domination. The way we won against UNC, in my mind, puts more doubt into the playoffs. If they blow SUU away, then I think we're in (although may still need a little help). It's just really hard to believe how we can't seem to get up for big games against inferior opponents. Friggin Idaho State. I hate those guys.
  4. UND also essentially 26 in the stats poll. http://www.fcs.football/cfb/story.asp?i=20191111130250533179504&ref=rec&tm=&src=FCS
  5. I've still got UND in a pretty good spot on my AGS ballot.
  6. I actually got a chance to meet Sather when I was up for the MSU football game. Gave me an extra ticket he had. Seems like a really nice dude based on my limited interaction with him.......
  7. Looking at our next few years schedules, our bye weeks are as follows - this does not impress me having our bye week in September 4 straight years - although with a 12 game year in 2024 it looks like our bye will also be in September as Dixie St looks to take up our during season bye so five straight year (so 9/21 should be our bye): 2020 - 9/19 (OOC Portland State on 10/24) 2021 - either 9/19 or 9/26 (first week of conference season open) 2022 - 9/10 (OOC Dixie State on 10/29) 2023 - either 9/2 or 9/30 (again first week of conference is bye week) 2024 - 9/21 (OOC Dixie State on 9/21 - other 4 non-conf first three weeks of season)
  8. Hadn't seen this posted. UND will have a home/home with Dixie State. 2022 (H) and 2024 (A). 2020 is their first transitioning year to D1. https://fbschedules.com/dixie-state-adds-nine-more-games-to-future-football-schedules/ One thing I don't like about these as they appear to fall in the conference season, so the bye week for UND during this time frame will be at the beginning of the season. https://fbschedules.com/ncaa/north-dakota/
  9. Where did you catch that one from?
  10. A majority of the kids we’ve had up during the season have been 2021, along with some of the commits and a few 2020 remaining targets. I’m gonna guess this weekend will be no different.
  11. Mathiasen has committed to a smaller school, Olivet Nazarene University. He is going into Pastoral Ministries. If that's his calling, can't blame him for taking that school up on their offer.

    2019 Season

Honestly if you would have told me before the season started we would be 3-2 I would have been estatic. As it sits I’m somewhat irritated as we easily could have won last week if not for so many turnovers. But, happy to be 3-2.
  13. Not sure on hockey. But for football, sounds like they will look to join Pioneer and then get up to full scholarship within a decade. This is from a friend of mine who is fairly connected at St Thomas.
  14. St Thomas is going to Summit assuming approved by the NCAA. http://www.startribune.com/st-thomas-to-get-invite-to-join-division-i-summit-league/562174952/
  15. I also think that punting is becoming a huge liability. If you are punting from the 25 there is no reason they should be fair catching at other 40. You should be going at least 45 yards in the air. That actually flipped the field in Sam's favor a couple times today, whereas their punter was booming it. I remember when our special teams were about as good as it could get. Awesome kicker, strong punter etc. Can't believe we don't recruit these better. Need to spend some scholarship money and not hope that the walkon will be good enough.

    SH Game Day

Took the safety huh? Curious how the game plays out.

    SH Game Day

Not doing much with holding the reins in during second quarter. Just let Schuster wing it
  18. This is one guy I'm very interested in. I really hope we are able to land this one.
  19. Ditto.
  20. Also worth noting that we have two running back commits in total, so guessing we won't see anymore in this class. That's not to say he would have picked UND if the offer was still commitable, as the Bison are currently hard to beat on the recruiting track, but guessing jdub has it exactly right here. That being said, kid should be a fantastic player and would have been a great get......
  21. Just hope that the size and toughness translates into success on the field and he can make an impact if called upon. This is what I'm expecting of Orlando next year.
  22. That’s two of the three I was expecting after camp......good get.
  23. Not 100% sure - with the offer I can assume they like him quite a bit, but I think they're going to square in on a couple targets during the season and that's where we'll end up finding our QB this cycle.
  24. Same. Asked after camp about it and was told the same thing.
  25. Urwiler committed this evening.
