Devin Rice, DE out of Missouri, has received an offer. https://www.hudl.com/profile/5153438/devin-rice

Would be an absolutely huge get.

Here is an article on offeree Eric Mooney. Looks like we aren't in his top 3, although I'm not sure if we're recruiting him anymore (whether our choice or his) as I haven't heard much on him recently. https://edgytim.rivals.com/news/visits-ahead-for-mooney

Offers rolling out today. Ryan Marquez, a QB out of Colorado (UNDFootball360 says we offered as a DB). Camron Lewis, JUCO WR from Southwestern CC Leonard Nelson, JUCO DB from American River CC
-
Also a pretty good long snapper, so could be a backup there as well.
-
I believe he would be a junior. I think he did Santa Ana, then a RS year at New Mexico, then sophomore year back at Santa Ana. I could be wrong, but his New Mexico 2016 bio said Sophomore and his 2017 Santa Ana bio says Sophomore. http://www.sacdons.com/sports/fball/2017-18/bios/lindsey_taylor_q0st?view=gamelog&pos=d

Perce committed to Bowling Green.
-
Since he's only got 2 years of eligibility left, he's likely going to be an FCS guy. I would guess that he'll be heading back to Texas for one of the many schools, but he may look good on our two deep with Rodgers, Larson and Hunt. I'm guessing we have been/will be in contact to check on any interest. Other FCS destinations could be in the MVFC, such as Missouri State, Southern Illinois, continue the pipeline of UM transfer to USD, etc.

Also an offer out to JUCO CB DaVonte Maura from Butler CC. Has offers from Duquense, Abilene Christian, SE Missouri, Bethune-Cookman and UT-Martin.
-
This is a guy I've had my eye on for quite a while. I think there is a lot of mutual interest, but I believe he's received a few FBS offers recently as well.
-
Well UND has offered at least one JUCO OL and safety in the past couple days, so those are areas that they're looking for some experienced bodies. I would assume they are looking at JUCO/FBS dropdown MLBs as well.

Offeree Mike Timm committed to SDSU. Another Wisco MLB that I was hoping we'd land......
-
Payton committed to SIU in August, but since has received about 4 more offers. So, not sure if there's other info out there that he's not a firm commit or what....... I think Petersen ends up at Illinois.

Re: the QB situation for next year, my understanding is the best QB on our roster this year was ineligible due to transfer rules, so I do have hope that we will have a very good QB next year, depending on what he's allowed to do in the offense. He also has some Big Sky game experience, which is helpful. Also, as it relates to Boltmann, I had heard that he is very similar to Studsrud, but is a better passer by a little bit. Not sure on the accuracy of any of that, just what I'd heard from a few people.

What hurts is losing John Chenal to a walk on with the Badgers. Even though he'd only be a true freshman next year, based on what I've seen of him he could have made a difference next year at MLB - similar to the difference that I think Noah Larson could have made this year. You're absolutely correct that we can't really afford to swing and miss from the JUCO ranks like with Dijon Murray. There was one that I thought would be a great fit, but he's starting to get offers from some of the bigger boys now, so not sure if he's a possibility or not.

Perfect way to save face for Rudolph, and get the result that a lot of fans want at UND. I like it.......

Speaking of size, I saw Rain Slater at the hockey game with (I believe) Tobin, and he made Tobin look tiny in comparison. He is HUGE.

Umm, what? Am I reading this that NDSU Teammakers gets money from charitable gambling?

I'll be there with my son, hoping for a good game with the Hawks coming out victorious.

I tend to agree with most on Blubaugh in that I'm not ready to give up on him. He just started playing CB in August of this year, so I'm willing to give him some more time. I like the comparison to Harris, in that I thought Harris was not a very good CB when he first started either. I'm willing to let it play out longer, as he's getting a lot of valuable experience this year. He'll have the offseason/spring ball to really start pulling everything together. I will say that I'm no expert on things like technique and everything, but there's a reason that he got his shirt pulled before we lost anyone else other than Harris. It's a lost year so I'm okay with him taking his lumps. I'm a little more disappointed with Ty Carter, but my understanding is that he's been knicked up pretty good so it's been tough from that perspective. All in all this year has been a !@#$ storm.......and hopefully we can regroup in the offseason and get back to making next year what we thought this year could have been......

Halftime. Enjoy the second half gentlemen, I'm off to the Tsingtao brewery. Woo hoo for beer at 9:30 on a Sunday morning......

Nice return by Santiago. And Studsrud with his first incompletion.

Thought you knew bro.......still be back in time for EWU.......

I was about to say the same thing......
