Any signings expected today?

I don't know if he would of made the field goal but we should of at least had one more play to try something.

I gotta think Johannasen could get the length of a football in 2 attempts. I can handle Rudoplph's play calling quite a bit of the time> BUT there are way too many critical calls that he just blows. Head scratchers.

In one of their articles on their team, Loyola reporter said Carson Shanks was a vital cog on UND's run to the post season tourney. Not sure vital is the appropriate word.

Going to be fun year no matter what happens in 5th game. They are playing at Ole Miss.

The upward trend that seems to be happening with a lot of our sports programs has to be driving a certain fan base nuts. You know the fan base a little south of here. Fun times to be a UND sports fan.

What position does Sequin play?

What was the deal with Sequin. When did his recruiting happen?

Brian Jones is Big Sky coach of the year. We won on the field and from the bench too. We have 2 Grand Slams. Impressive.

I agree. Don't downplay our men and women's basketball teams winning the Big Sky. That is a big accomplishment. Obviously it would be great to Dance but it would be the icing on the cake.

I doubt NDSU has ever won all the conference D1 titles in the same year. Their women's basketball team hasn't been very good.

I started this topic slightly tongue in cheek because I was just hoping it would actually happen. I was just trying to bring a little positivity to everything that has happened at UND in recent times.(budget cutting, nickname etc.) But I did feel it was a possibility. Now that it really did happen I will repeat what I said before. This is a HUGE story. Just ask Brian Faison.

My dream is still alive. And I still think it would be a big story.

Frankly, if either team was playing really well they could have a nice lead. We need a couple players to get hot. Crandall needs to stay on the floor. to have a chance.

Weber has won 2 straight games in the last seconds of the game. Maybe they have run out of good fortune.

Just trying to lighten it up a little. A little positivity never hurts. We have a lot good things going on in our sports. Hopefully the budget cuts won't hurt too much.

The Men's and Women's basketball teams control their own destiny now. Keep winning and they both win the Big Sky Conferences Championships. Our Volleyball team won the Big Sky. Our Football team won the Big Sky. How cool would it be to have UND win the 4 major sports championships in the Big Sky in the same year. It wouldn't take a miracle. It can happen. Go UND.

The Reynolds kid from West Fargo had an offer of some sort from NDSU too. Heard that from a very reliable source too. They won't believe any of this in Fargo.

Will there be any surprises tomorrow or is the main goal to just land the recruits that committed already? What is the vibe going around?

You just have to go back a month ago and Johannasen chose UND over an offer from NDSU too. What a memory you have.

When it gets down to the last minute and a half of a very tight game it is a real liability to have Bernstine in the game because you know what the other team is going to do. Foul him. It is just the reality of it. But we lost that game for more than one reason.

.Even though Hooker has had some great games this year, overall his play has been his poorest since his Freshman year. As a rule when we have a critical possession we just seem to be poorly coached. We become a very selfish team. We lose our discipline on big possessions. We had some really bad fouls taken tonight when they had no business getting their hand in their. Also we always seem to have the wrong person taking the shot when we need a basket. And of course on probably the biggest possession of the game we went to Shanks. Wow. It is kind of like groundhog day. We just can never win what is perceived to be a Big game.

Good first half of basketball except for a few bad turnovers. For the most part if they keep playing like that they will have a chance to win.
