Redwing do you have a clue what you are talking about??? Cable has more options overall, than dsl does, it's just that midco's basic line is that much farther ahead of everyone else. Midco high speed basic 256k upload = $34 a month 500k upload = $50 a month Currently in GF Quest is teamed up with MSN to provide dsl service. The problem with this is that MSN is a major corporation and doesn't provide the best service, tends to cut out a times. My recomendation is go with midco's basic for $34 a month. And if you plan on having more than one computer hooked up to is, you will need a router with a 4 port switch to hook to your cable modem.

Kupchella was the one who was against the nickname, not Baker. Baker was a student's President. He associated more with the students than with the board, and that is what ultimately got him ran out of town. I met Baker my freshman year while walking to class. He stopped me and asked me how things were going and if I liked my classes and the school. At the time I didn't know who he was until we exchanged names. Over a year later I ran into him again while I was walking to class. He not only remembered my name but when and where we had met. I was very impressed. Baker went out of his way to associate with students, and find out what it was that they wanted.

UND Hockey isn't racist..........We take 27 year old Canadians

Parise played the puck way above the crossbar........ when the puck is played with a high stick, the other team has to play it before your team can touch the puck. My only question would have been whether the puck bouncing off the gopher guy would classify as being played. If it does classify as being played, that nulifies the high stick and the goal was good. But since this is a regular season game, it doesn't matter cause there is no instant replay.

Hate to burst your bubble, but I plan on being in Denver over spring break, so it's not going to happen for me sorry .........I'll let you know if my plans change though

Overall the game was a blast last year, but I think there was only one SS player that didn't feel like puking after the game. If you didn't notice in the picture of our bench, we only had seven skaters for a 1 1/2 hr game. But the only way I would go back is if we have the same goalie as last year........He was down right unbelievable It did get a little chippy by one particular POI guy who was about 6' 4" 240 lbs. He on occasion decided to throw his weight around. I also did get a nice bruise from a slash as I was cutting to the net. But some roughness is to be expected. Surprisingly we had an ambulance outside waiting the whole game, but it was never needed.......I had heard rumors that this old old guy for POI was going to have a heart attack on the ice

I must say, there was nothing quite like standing in line for a Gopher-Sioux hockey series or any series for that matter. Students with beer or any alcoholic beverage in hand stretching down the sidewalk all the way to Memorial Stadium. The final push starting ten minutes before the doors opened. (you had better had ticket and id out already, cause there was no reaching your pockets ) Yes there was just something about that place that gives me goose bumps when I think about those classic games. We will miss The Ralph and her cozy confines. But REA is slowly building momentum and offers stuff for everyone. It brings in players we may not have got. It brings events we never would have had. And most importantly, it brings in fans from far reaching areas. (I know Sioux fans who drive up from Sioux Falls, Fergus Falls, and Bismark for every home series, not to mention Sioux Fans living in Fargo) So we shall imbrace our new home REA and lead it to NC's and loud crowds insane for their beloved team! For it is ours, and nobody can ruin that but us.

I think I asked this in the WJC thread, but here it goes again..........I don't spose since Blais said that the three of them would score goals, not necessarily as a line. And since we are counting Bucks goals in the subway classic; would it be too much of a stretch to count ZP's and BM's goals in the WJC as part of the count to 100??? Just a thought Morley

Forecheck, What is the deal for the costumes tonight?? When and where do you want to meet before the game?? Are we wearing them to the game or putting them on there? Let me know, Morley

Glad to see the US win, too bad the GWG had to be like that. I guess it was one of those goals that if we weren't crashing to the net for the puck Fleury wouldn't of had to play it the way he did. Great game kept everyone on the edge of their seats. Canada will be outstanding next year with a possible 13 players returning.

Damn dataflix, didn't even get to see the goal, Seriously they are getting an e-mail from me, it would be one thing if it froze or lagged and picked up were it rebuffered, but it doesn't it just skips ahead. Talk about taking all the rythym out of a game. I am joining you Sprig, it just isn't worth it anymore!!!

anyone else having problems with dataflix lagging and freezing up??
-
I thought I was the Big Mac
-
hey Forecheck, looks like you will be getting lucky once again with your future hubby scoring a goal again tonight
-
boy was that a quick whistle, the puck just bounced off the scsu player not that I could really see the puck..............this feed sucks in comparison to the denver series
-
I got the Denver series, and the feed was pretty good, a little laggy at times, but this just sucks. Everything is yellow, and you can't even see the puck
-
Just call some sports bars and ask them if they carry NHL Center Ice
-
well just hope that they don't sit anywhere near your seats cause if they do, they are use to it by now
-
Game starts at 11 am cst Diggler, what time you going to go get tickets for the UAA series??
-
What a game went to BWW to watch the game on TSN!! ZP looked unbelievable out there, he drew several penalties, unfortunately the US couldn't take advantage of them. Oh well, still a good win for the US. The next games will be on NHL Center Ice, any good sports bar should have it. I'll be at BWW on Monday watching the game in GF for those are interested in joining me.
