Hockey is the most physical game there is, between the hits and some of the nasty stick work, there isn't much more a player can do other than to fight to defend himself or a teammate. And I agree with the players policing the game, there is that unwritten rule. It's the same in baseball, you throw a ball high and inside on a teams "franchise" player, and there are good odds somebody on your team will get hit by a pitch the next inning. And then it is done. The players and coaches understand this. Granted there are exceptions like Bertuzzi. Moore gave an concusion to Sundin. He then fought a canuck player the next game. That should have been it, Done and Over. But occasionally you will get people like Bertuzzi that make things worse. Can fighting take away potential fans. Yes, but is it going to kill the sport, NO. It is part of the game, and with the new rules, talent is taking over the game and fighting is becoming less and less.

Well I have my sioux tattoo, a couple of jerseys, numerous shirts, and hats. A couple of window stickers. I'm looking for a window sticker of Calvin pissing so I can put goldie underneath it. And a sioux hitch cover. Have a couple of posters, and title towels hanging up in my place including the year round sioux x-mas stocking.

I guess this offseason has been moving too slow. Couldn't wait any longer. Still need to have Fighting Sioux added somewhere on there, but it's a start. Just wish the yellow would show a little better.

I believe in the all star competition, back when Gaborik had won it he had a time of 13.xx seconds. Starting at the centerline, staying outside all the faceoff dots and skating behind both nets. So if you know the distance between the dots and the length of the ice, you could get a fairly decent estimate speed.

In all reality, us kids can't afford it, and will gladly take mom and dad's seats for free. Then we can meet them at the front of the suite, get their suite tickets and get in ourselves. Just to look around of course :O

Hey now, we were told that was a family trip and didn't have to pay. Plus the Howard Johnson comped all three nights of our stay there. Not to mention if we had sold our tickets for the championship game we would have fairly close to breaking even (never expected the championship game to be that boring )
