Considering the game I saw last night, Wisco has a bad D (4 frosh D in front of Bernd). Yah, their stats are good, but the way they have been playing lately is more indicative of a poorer D then the stats "say". Hence the "slide" that UW has been having. UND played good D last night, much more so than the BADgers....sorry, but that is what I saw as a totally unbiased hockey fan. Stats are one thing, but individual games are another. Take off the kelly colored glasses and you may actually see I may have a few points. WPoS

if the rest of the games are officialted like last nights, there will be LOTS of guys getting hurt....Andserson watched lots happen and let it go...I remember seeing a full round house to back of someones head after the whislt and a few checks form behind.... YEP! actually, I agree onthe match up....it will give us something to talk about since we haven't played each other since October....which is just plain wrong! As for faring....well on the seires this year it was Gophers scoring 8 goals, UND 4...I'll take those odds! WPoS

it is called neutral zone trap boring hockey....this year they are not as "good" at it IMO, but they still can play it to shut down a good offense. IMO they will be close, if not, an FF team. WPoS

I don't know if we'll be graced with the glorious beings such as those two or not, but I know GE has stopped at least once in the past....somethings aren't that clear after a lot of beer! WPoS

FYI, got a reply back form the NCAA rep on the whole neutral ice/court/arena deal. He said that the TRY to avoid playing in "home"/school locations when they can, but if the situation warrants it they will. So it looks like if the Ralph actually put together a good enuf package/deal, they could host the Final five. As could the Kohl center (but they will probably be having a "Cher" concert at that time). WPoS

I actually see no way that UND does NOT get included in the brackets....now UW on the other hand....so you guys get that chance for #8 (not that you'll get it ) WPoS

I'll make sure to duck if anything gets thrown at us on Thursday night....be warned, I am rooting against BOTH teams! But marginally pulling for UND moreso than UW.... WPoS
