I think a lot of North Dakota athletes will choose NDSU or UND over a Division I team a thousand miles away. Next years Bison team will considerably increase the number of ND athletes on Divison I teams. Four on the Men's basketball team and at least seven on the Women's team, and over 30 on the football team. Currently there are probably less than ten total in Divison I football and basketball. Trenbeath is a good kid, hope he has a good career with you guys. His Grandfather was the late great State Senator Grant Trenbeath from Pembina County. His dad was also a good athlete.

Having to make a choice, the South Dakota State weekend, is a more attractive trip to Fargo for me than the UND weekend. You get 2 games Friday and 2 games Saturday. Both SDSU teams are in the NCC hunt. Augustana will have the former Bison coach Billeter.

I for one am not too concerned about next years Bison home schedule. It will fall into place shortly. The rivalry thing has been talked to death on other threads, time to move on. The Xcel, best hockey arena in the midwest could be an alternate site for a Gopher-UND hockey game. Target Center has also hosted Gopher hockey games.
