So let's assume that Roughriders will be 1 of the two that is in the final 2 for a vote. So 1 of the other 4 will join it in the final vote. Is there a risk of having too many people vote for Roughriders while not reaching 50% and having SunDogs be up against it in the finals. Is there a way to vote in a way to get the 2 most acceptable names in the final 2. For instance if a person wanted Roughriders, but could live with the Fighting Hawks it isn't unreasonable for them to vote for their 2nd choice to hurt the cause of the other 3 choices. Sorry for the confusing reply, but I do enjoy reading the boards even if I don't post often.

Beginning of the year will be rougher next year, but when we peak next year the team will have a higher ceiling than the team this year.

Frustrating to see 4 tickets available for Saturday 40 bucks a piece when I click on it and see sold after getting excited. Guess it's just a matter of getting lucky when I get home and look.

I can't remember ever being this nervous watching a game on tv. Time for a gritty goal. I am very pleased with how we have played tonight.

Even if we lose this game Gothberg has proved he can steal a game. Someone needs to step up and bury one.

Miami is playing well. We have played well for stretches. The ice looks awful for these games. Thank God for an opportunity to win a game tomorrow with a chance to get in the tournament.

Anyone else notice the video quality on tv is very poor tonight? Maybe it's just me, but thought I'd ask if anyone else is bugged by this.

Obviously Gothberg back in goal tomorrow. I don't know if we can get Panzerella in there for Mattson or not, but he and Gleason were below average tonight. O'Donnell can't be a top line winger tomorrow, just go with Rocco to start with. Play with the same intensity as the 3rd and we will roll tomorrow. 3 more wins.

It would be nice if we were a team that have a "hot goalie" in this tournament. I'm thinking Gothberg gives us the best chance at that happening. I guess we will see on Friday.

If Grimaldi could bury half of the chances he is creating for himself he would easily be the best player on the ice every night. Just frustrating to watch the last few shifts when he could have given us the lead that went the other way for their final goal. What doesn't make any sense to me sitting at the game is why O'Donnell is still on the top line. He is just a body out there taking up space. Why not bring some guys in that haven't played regularly and shuffle up the lines. I'm sure that Chisyk (sp?), Senkbiel, or even Sanderson entering the lineup would send a message to our guys. Cagguila needs to considered as well. Just shake things up and maybe something good will happen.

When switching back and forth from Fox Sports North to Midco it looks like a huge difference. I appreciate the upgrade in quality, but it is not a true HD broadcast. Must better than before, but hopefully actual HD will be coming next year. This reminds me of people saying that Upscaling DVD's looks the same as watching it on Blu-ray.

Did anyone get the webcast for Friday night's game? I was just wondering how the quality was. I am thinking about buying it if it is decent and just hooking up my computer to my tv. Would appreciate any info that any of you have on the quality last night. Go Sioux!

Anybody have a list of songs for Friday night and Saturday night that play when the Sioux are warming up before the game?

It would be nice to be able to see the videos online or something with the nickname appearing to be on the way out. I just think they were so well made and wonder if they will ever be able to be shown in the Ralph this year.

Holy Cross, Boston University, and Notre Dame are our only non conference opponents? Is it normal to just have 3 and last year just felt like more with the Ice Breaker tourney being moved to the Ralph? Pretty strong schedule though. Very disappointing that Minnesota doesn't visit Grand Forks in the last season as conference members though. Bad luck for the rotation to fall like this in our final year.
