Due to an unexpected medical situation with my mother having to be down at Mayo for 3 months straight my parents are unable to take the Friday night games this season. The seats are in Section 302, Row K, Seats 21 and 22. It could be 20 and 21, hard to remember after last year was first after relocation. Seats are fantastic. Have a little more room behind you as it is the top row. The media tunnel is behind your seats. Looking for $500 for the pair on Friday night. I like it. I will buy a Fighting Hawks Jersey when they become available. My 3 year old and 1 year old boys both need jerseys as well. I would have to get replica ones of course. Hopefully our real logo looks good like this one.

I didn't bother going back and reading the posts, but I do know that the entire game felt like the moment just before you are in a car crash. Feeling that tense for 3 hours is not healthy. However working on 4 hours of sleep was totally worth it! Wish it was Saturday already.

So what you guys are saying is that blind faith while watching our team throw away a 2 goal lead in the Frozen Four isn't supposed to make you think we are losing our grip on the game and to not have flashbacks of past choke jobs. I am amazed at the arrogance of some posters on here that claim to not have had any doubt with Denver going on a PP with 5 or so to go. We are all rooting for the same team and some others choose to express it by posting how they are feeling at a given time. No point in looking down upon them for that. They were just posting what 90% of the Sioux fans were thinking. But I guess they just aren't in the "Elite" Sioux fan crowd that always knows best.

I just would assume the local kids would have a harder time leaving early if there was still unfinished business. They can all leave if we win a title. Could be quite the road to the title. Northeastern on a run, Michigan, Denver, BC perhaps. Legendary.

If we hang #8 I would bet LaDue, Stecher, Schmaltz are gone for sure. If we somehow come up short who really knows.

Reading sarcasm isn't something you do well I guess. Times are super tough in my household and would gladly take you up on the pond to wash up in, and that change jar just might have enough money in it to buy gifts for my two boys from Santa for Christmas.

They should have had 2 press releases already made. The results would have been known at midnight and the release should have gone out around 10am this morning along with a press conference. It really shouldn't be this difficult.

Can't wait for this to be over and start arguing about what the logo should look like. Either way my sons will be getting new jersey's next year for Christmas as our Sioux gear is getting too small for them. Should have planned it out better!

I'm cool with either of them. Voted for Fighting Hawks in the first vote, and Roughriders in the 2nd. Didn't like Nodaks. There are many reasons to vote for each choice. FH- Keeps fighting in the name. Isn't controversial. Roughriders- Unique other than a local high school team. Let's be honest does any other college outside of Grand Forks care that we stole it? NO. It is a Grand Forks issue. Possibilities of a great unique nickname. Just hate being talked down upon when the reality is there is going to be 35% of the voters unhappy that Fighting Hawks is our new nickname with them saying that everyone is so stupid for choosing it.

Completely agree with this thread steering people towards Fighting Hawks. I'm fine with either, but the more people act like their opinion is more important than others and those that are voting for the Fighting Hawks are the "uninformed" you are digging your own grave. The arrogance of people on this forum is sad since we are all going for one team when this is all over.

It is actually very entertaining to read all the threads about vote this or vote that. Voted FH in first vote, RR in second, and could vote either way as the only two I can stand are remaining. Funny thing is the whole pushing of your favorite or athlete's favorite can push people away instead of bringing them into your corner. How about someone just makes a single thread of the positives and negatives of each possible winner. At the end of the day all the name calling will stop and we will need to rally around this change together.

Voted Roughriders to try get it into the final round with the Fighting Hawks who I voted for the 1st round. Can't stand the Nodaks, so this is a vote against that and will probably go back with the FH in the final round.

If the Fighting Hawks don't make the runoff I will pledge my support for Roughriders. Went back and forth and am actually turned off by the Herald pushing the NoDaks. That is great that members of the athletic community want NoDaks, but in all honesty their vote is no more important than ours.

I'm aware of that. What I am saying is that if a person or group of people were so confident that Roughriders would advance to the final 2 they could in theory vote for another nickname in order to try block the ones that are deemed unacceptable.
