The ticket office is going to get an earful this weekend when parents assume it's like normal games and they drove an hour with a 3 year old and have to pay $75 more than normal. It's not like people are sneaking in adults disguised as kids......

I understand this is a bit early to post them as we don't get the tickets in the mail until August, but with baby 3 almost here life is going to get super crazy.

Clearly cutting these sports will cause the players in these other sports to perform better. Just because the current president says there will be no more cuts doesn't mean he knows what his budget will be in the future. Once they are cut they are cut. Just like a job taking away perks. Once they are gone they are likely gone for good. Rip on me all you want as you all have, but cutting programs is never a good thing.

As an alum this is embarrassing. At what point do the cuts stop? What else is there to be cut. Everyone assumes that certain sports make profit to cover the losses of the others, but what will be left in a few years? Football Hockey and Men's and Women's Basketball? Has volleyball been cut yet? I really have no idea at this point. Have had a really !@#!$ run of presidents since I graduated. This one will be known for cutting sports as the last will be for retiring the Sioux name.

I have had the same issue, but have found a work around at the moment. So on the apple tv you just select the game you want and it loads up. Let it start and hit pause for 4-5 minutes and unpause it. It will be smooth the rest of the game. It basically is not handling the amount of people watching and having a hard time trying to buffer while watching live. I realize you will be 4-5 minutes behind and not "live" but it is watchable until it gets fixed. Very frustrating that this even has to be an issue. Try doing this next friday. Worked well for 3 different times I tried it. Basically you are just letting it buffer ahead a bit. It is just like watching a movie on Netflix. They start loading the movie and you are basically watching a few minutes behind as it loads infront.

Big Grey I was looking on the NCHC facebook page and they had a story about it a week or so back. From their comments replying to people asking it sounds like they are building it and will be available in September. I sure hope so because I purchased a Roku stick and the NCHC.tv subscription for my mom. I know she couldn't handle hooking a computer up to a tv to watch. I would doubt they would announce an app and not deliver.
