Was Wentz part of the "it" factor the last couple of years. I didn't realize how good he was until the draft talk started last year.
-
My brother was in Fargo at a Fargo North basketball game. Said the place went silent after the fb game was final. My son is at the Betty for the UND basketball game and there was a roar when the game ended even though there was no announcement.
-
JMU sure started struttin pretty early and after every tackle with just under 5:00 left. As much as I wanted them to win it was hard to watch
-
final. JMU by 10
-
not at all. I figured they would still pull it out until just now

I know most or all bison fans rightfully disown him but wow does he have issues.
-
Two words...........Lakes Bison. I don't know of any UND fan (or any fan anywhere) whose behavior reaches anywhere near his level. Visit a fan site of any team that UND plays and you will find him spewing hatred and baseless accusations.

Some good news on the recruiting front. Keep them coming.

FCS Football @FCS_STATS 3h3 hours ago Two reports in Youngstown, Ohio, say 4 Youngstown State players suspended for #FCSPlayoffs vs. Eastern Washington. http://www.vindy.com/news/2016/dec/13/ysu-mum-on-which-players-or-substance-in/?newswatch …

It has to be killing the SU faithful that the lost JJ to UND because they don't lose anything to us. Some will break out every excuse they can think of as to why.
-
I read a few posts regarding JJ on Bisonville and then wished I hadn't. It goes on for 47 pages and now most say they didn't want him because he committed to UND. Some of the posts are kind of disturbing, It is so bad that one poster who knows the family told the others to go F*$% themselves.

Where is the best place to stay in Omaha for the hockey game Jan 6-7?
-
I have been trying not to think about that. Thanks for bringing it up

That really sounds like fun. We are planning on the Southern Utah game on Nov 4. Fly to Vegas and drive the 2 hours or so to Cedar City.

I watched Boltmann play once this year and thought he is comparable to Studsrud also. Very similar style. I thought Boltmann threw the ball well for a HS player

You asked what our attendance would have been had we been outside. We weren't outside - we were inside so it doesn't matter. That seems reasonable. Nothing about defending fan support. Just defending the decision to build an indoor facility which seems like a good idea. Fargo has one also so I am sure you support that. It makes a difference in attendance when the weather gets cold. SDSU had the same option and chose not to for whatever reason.
-
It really doesn't matter because we didn't play outdoors in bad weather. SDSU could have built an indoor facility also but didn't. We shouldn't have to apologize for that.

I would normally agree regarding the hockey game but in this case I think the hockey game took a number of fans from the football game. If we had 7,000-8000 people in NY I have to believe that we could have counted on at least 1,000 of them to be at the football game had they been in town. I am only guessing but 1/8 being willing to go to the fb game seems reasonable.

I have heard a lot of good things about coach Kostich both as a recruiter and a coach. I have only met him a couple of times but he is very impressive and I know the players love him.
-
They sure did for the first time in many, many years. A win and having the season continue would have gone a long way toward sustaining that for the future. We gained a lot with that game but we would have made more strides if football had stayed in the news with a long playoff run. Just a missed opportunity in my opinion. My son and his friends are on board. I was talking about the students who are fringe fans. It has nothing to do with donated tickets or rides to the game. I donated tickets myself and hosted a bunch of students at our tailgate party and we all had a great time but most of them have been there all year. We did rope in 2 or 3 that hadn't been there for many games

My son is a current student. He pointed out what a missed opportunity it was. Got a bunch of students to the game and interested. Could have built on the feeling that it was fun and that they contributed to a win. Move on in playoffs and raise fb's profile.
