If your looking to rent a car to leave Vegas and see Hoover Dam or Red Rock Canyon, etc. absolutely. Don't rent a car to get around Vegas itself, it makes for a bad time.

The rib special is great, the booze is reasonable, and the karaoke is fun with some great singers if that's your thing. The monorail will actually get you as far north as SLS, one stop past Westgate. I plan on doing the sports book thing Saturday morning for the college games.
