Lots of hand wringing and teeth knashing, who's going, who's not, flying, driving, hotels, how many nights, tickets, etc. Flying by the seat of your pants is FUN!

2.25 3:00 is me last year after the BC game in St. Louis.
Now driving to Denver, will defer the United airfare +$100 change and go fly somewhere else.
We now interupt this WCHA ego stroke with a dose of reality. Check the brackets, folks. CCHA with two in Denver, maybe should have been three. The numbers would be similar.
I booked Thursday early morning out, Sunday late afternoon back for $550 through United. You're not going to do any better than that at this point. I tried cobbling together flights via Midway on Southwest, etc. That's the situation right now. WorldPerks isn't going to get you there either, unless you have about 75,000 miles to burn.
I think you're right..Bucci-Melrose in Denver. The best was during the strike year (2005) when Thorne and Clement did the Frozen 4. The Sioux D-corp put on quite a show in the semi-final, Clement was impressed to the hilt.
"Ten times more qualified" was meant to incite and spur discussion, I'll confess. But why didn't Kupchella pull the trigger with Rob last time around? I don't know him near on the level that many of you here do, I've had the pleasure to meet him briefly on a couple of occasions, and he seems great. But it's a legitimate question. And yes, I'm well aware of the place for resumes....they are a means to eliminate candidates, not hire them.
I don't know why I should be surprised by SCSU, but un-freaking-believable. Michigan sleepwalks to Denver..(which they would have done regardless of today's winner from the look of things...).
