I feel like that Chelsea Dagger song should be going on right now. They aren't going to replace tDon because any new guy would may want to bring in his own guy. That would be particularly the case if they were going after a highly acclaimed coach with an history of kicking Gopher butt. Actually the Gophers can only go up, even with the coaching staff. If I were Lucia I'd want Hill gone, but apparently tDon doesn't see it that way. Lucia can coach, but something is wrong with the Gophers the last couple seasons.

As he watches the game he can stew about how it was the Fighting Sioux from the Ralph Englestad Arena on the campus of the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota that ended his lousy college career.

I'd love for us to get to be a number one seed and have them drop far enough we don't have to play them. The other #2's are Bemidji, Cornell and St Clown. We haven't played Bemidji and I don't want to take them lightly but they haven't played a lot of top tier teams. I think we'd win. We split with Cornell on their rink in January. We lost a 1-0 game and beat them 3-1. I think we can take it to them just fine. We out shot them 28-15 in the losing game and 26-16 in the second. And I like our chances against the Clowns from St Cloud.

I was looking at INCH's 4 x 4 tournament predictions. They have us in the Worchester regional with BC in the top seed. Not that I want to see BC in the tournament again, but compare the other #2 seeds on INCH's list. Miami has Bemidji in their regional. Wisconsin has Cornell. Denver has St Clown. Frankly I see the other #1's having a relatively easy road to the Frozen Four as compared with BC. I don't think they're going to be real happy about playing us.

I was driving from Minneapolis to GF during the F5 game where Blake Wheeler scored his amazing goal to unjustly deny us the Broadmoor. I had the Gopher station for quite a while, which you won't have because the Gophers aren't playing. (You may have heard that already.) From Alexandria I couldn't find anything until I got close to Fargo. I hope things are better now, but don't expect that. So last year I was in an airport during the LaCrosse game. I had to follow the game via the Sioux Sports thread. It was kinda funny how it went from "puck about to drop" to "oh wow" then the thread almost went quiet. I had to guess that we had lost quickly.

Toews moves up to Frattin's line. Bruno skates on the fourth line with Rowny and Super-Mario. The guy that plays least well sits Friday, should we be fortunate enough to move on.

I'm going to have to take issue with this part of your post. Checking is a big part of the game. Frattin went to far, but if he had held back a bit it would have been a great play.
