The Gophers are facing elimination. They've got too much talent to go quietly. Last night after we went up by two the power play opportunities were Minnesota 5, Sioux nothing. Don't expect anything different tonight. This will be, at least until we get ahead, an hard fought game. What should be the last home game with the chance to end another Gopher season. Edit: The first of the five power play opportunities was when we scored our shorthanded to go up by 2.

I'm glad that Marto's playing. I'm not really sure why Fienhage is all of a sudden not playing. One thing I noticed is that he's got a heck of a good shot. In Hak we trust!

I was probably there to see him play, but don't remember any players from back then. The picture of All American's in the programs always haunted me. Unlike the other pictures, his was just of his head, looking out to the future. And then there was that black band across it. I swiped the photo in my sig from that Legend of Terry Casey link that was already mentioned. That site also said that he was already picked to be Captain of the US Olympic team when he was killed.

Anderson did both the Prpich Pop and the stroll across the ice games against Denver. The first was in Denver and the latter was in Grand Forks of course. In both of those games we were at least spared of having Gwozdecky finish the game on the bench. So Anderson has at least something going for him.

Adam's the worst, period. Campion at least for a couple years was responsible for the fact that the Gophers had more power play opportunities than penalty kills. Anderson just sucks. Nobody really knows who's going to get the benefit of his suckatude.

Glad we're playing the Gophers team and not those synchronized skaters. They'd be a lot tougher to beat.

Any time there's an internet fight there's always a gopher involved.

I thought the RPI which is a big part of the PWR considered your entire record. I could be wrong about that.

Week to week there's a lot to complain about the PWR. At the end of the year, it's usually pretty fair, although not perfect. By fair I mean as compared to the KRACH which week to week is probably as good as it will get, but not perfect. But what else are you going to go by?

If it were in Minneapolis we'd see Donna Adam.

I think that was the game I was late for. I was even debating about going to the game since we were already down 3. Turns out I made the right decision for once.

If he gets the great money good for him. But as a business decision I think that potential teams aren't going to make a big commitment to him now. If he comes back and wins a Hobey, then... The other problem for him is his size at his position. I wouldn't be surprised if he winds up having a great career in Europe, because the NHL teams don't play d-men of his size. Maybe he could transition back to forward....

I'd love to end the Goophers season again.
