  1. In rogue programs, such as with NDSU football, the coach and athletic department run the university. Therefore, who is really the boss here?
  2. I'm hoping UND keeps it competitive. I agree that the offense at UND could score, but I have concerns about the UND defense, both against the run and pass. I'd say SDSU 42 UND 21.
  3. Well, we all know that the N in NDSU means "Knowledge" to them...
  4. Do the NDSU players shear sheep by sheer numbers in Fargo? Just wondering...
  5. See what happens when Bisonville makes critical talk of the blundering turd football team verboten? Their freak show comes over here.
  6. Well, it was usually followed by "inner-city". Hmmm... Wonder what that is code for?
  7. Let's just say that for some weird reason, the dude thinks that being publicly drunk is a sign of a real man. He made a drunken spectacle out of himself in front of some rather sober and very amused CSU fans.
  8. Ah, Lakes. He made quite the fool of himself in Fort Collins...but that's off topic.
  9. What is strange is that I heard this line from a few NDSU faithful at the CSU game: "Well, those kids didn't know better. You know how those people do things where they're from!" Yeah, tell me what is racist, NDSU trolls...
  10. Do a Google search using "NDSU players" and see what comes up. It sure as H. E. double hockey sticks isn't the score of the CSU game or their coveted FCS championship!
  11. Also, Bisonville shut down the thread. It is verboten, yah, to talk of such things on Bisonville. They gotta goosestep in sequence!
  12. Yeah, we resent having 7 division I national championship banners hanging in our rafters. (At the highest level of competition..not an FCS level) Yeah, it it just killing us!
  13. I see. Yet, the football players that had files charged against them are as pure as the driven snow? If NDSU keeps going down the road, they'll be shipping off their championship banners back to the NCAA. I hope when the NCAA receives them, they don't confuse UND with NDSU again...
  14. You might be right. But, on the other hand, why did all these players get these jobs? What motivated this company to hire a bunch of NDSU football players? I
  15. I have to admit, that doesn't look good, does it? I'll go to Greeley this November. I expect there will be about 1000 or so UND fans there. Many living in this area. NDSU travels well. No doubt about it.
  16. That is funny. I went to that game yesterday in Fort Collins. I took a CSU graduate friend of mine with me. This may be off subject, but she was so impressed with the NDSU fanbase. About 6000 or so of their fans were there. They knew when to make noise in the endzone, which disrupted the CSU team in their homefield. They knew when to be quiet for their offense to do their work. They were respectful of the CSU fans and we had fun talking with many of them. (Even with my CSU shirt and Sioux hat on!) The CSU fans I talked to couldn't have been more impressed with the NDSU folks. I know that UND and NDSU fans rip on each other. But, honestly, I would hate to see the actions of NDSU's athletic department and the football teams coaching staff ruin what they have in Fargo. Their fans, or course, were supportive of the team. But, they were concerned with what was going on with this issue, and some confided with me about other issues surrounding the team. I know that these athletic programs all have their problems to deal with, but it seems that NDSU is heading down a path that could really put theirs in major trouble in the near future. Oh, it looks good on the field. But, off the field there are some major issues that need to be addressed.
  17. If somebody else mentioned this here, my apologies. But, how and why did those players get those jobs. That might be innocent enough, the way the job situation in North Dakota is right now. But, what if they were given those jobs because of their high profile in the community. Their minor celebrity status in Fargo as members of the football team? What if that company hired them on that basis alone, thinking that their faces would help the petition drive? What if the players were aware of their hiring due to their minor celebrity status as NDSU football players in Fargo? Is that an NCAA violation just by itself, not to mention their criminal activity in forging signatures? Just throwing this out there. We need us some lawyers to respond!
  18. I was thinking more like Bingo. Just got back from the CSU/NDSU game. CSU is in transition with a new coach. But, NDSU did look impressive. However, I *could* hear the ankle bracelets beeping from the other side of the field...
  19. I'll be at that game. Maybe I'll start a petition drive to see what everyone thinks of the line?
  20. Not sure. I always go to Yahoo sports. http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/teams?type=division&division=I-AA
  21. Oh, good one. ( I think RamNation needs to know this...)
  22. Hail the Bison? Among those charged with violating North Dakota election law
  23. I'm going to the Colorado State University / NDSU game today. I wonder if the CSU student section will be armed with clipboards to waive at the NDSU bench? Go Rams!
  24. I say we hire some of them to do a petition drive for a new nickname! (yeah, it's getting old already...)
