If RR wins out, I would have to say KG might have saved it among that crowd with the move to forward the five names left.

I'd think with our crowd it would get over 50% of the vote among the five left.

Any reason RR fell out of favor and dropped from #1? Still in the running, but...hmmm... trademark? Negative use?

I could live with those folks being considered stakeholders. My ideal group would exclude season ticket holders, but I could live with their inclusion.

I'm with both MKSioux and Siouxfan512 on this. To make it more legitimate, we do have to have a vote and it should only include stakeholders. Yeah, it draws out the process even more. But, if this doesn't happen, the buy in on the new name, no matter what is chosen, is in danger.

Maybe a hybrid between direct mail/online? Either one would be a good way to do outreach to the alumni...

I love the new IPF, but this is much, much more meaningful for the university.

Well, it gives them something to focus on while they work under the orders of graduates of UND. It's not such a bad thing for them, really.

Did I not say that I love UND sports? I like FCS football and other sports at UND besides hockey. But, hockey is at the highest level, while football is not. I said it because it is true. Especially the last line, which you have admirably proven to be true.
