Why wouldn't you want your path to go through NDSU. You guys are playing the best football in the FCS right now.Personally, I believe Northern Arizona should get in before UND. Same conference record and quite frankly, their win over Stephen F. Austin is better than a win over Wyoming. UND played a weak schedule in a weak conference. UNA played more of the top teams in the conference. No way the BSC should get more teams in than the MVFC. UND does not go 5-3 in the MVFC this year.

They were down by 25 late in the game until UW lost interest. It was not a 14 point game. Going into the season I thought perhaps UND's talent may be too much for NDSU to overcome when they play, but I'm not too worried after watching tonight. I would give UND 10 points for the home court, but Richman vs Jones in coaching may be worth 20 for NDSU, so I see about a 10 point NDSU win.

You do have a very good run defense, which would serve you well in the MVFC. However, UND is in the Big Sky, and against the top teams in the BSC, your lack of a pass defense is going to get you killed. UND has to stop making it a priority to build their team around stopping the Bison. This isn't the 80's and 90's anymore. Being a run oriented offense in the BSC will help, but you need to build your defense on getting pressure on the QB and having safeties that can cover not just make the big hit.

I agree overall SDSU is better than UND right now. SDSU's offense is better than UND's but UND's defense is better than SDSU's (and that isn't even close). I do think that they may have gotten a little vanilla on offense after going up 28-0 in the 3rd quarter, plus they fumbled a couple of times. The margin could have easily been greater against SDSU than UND.

Not true. The Summit has your rival Denver(who is actually more your rival than any BSC school).

UND wins a close one. Bet the house on the under. I don't even know what the line is, but the first team to double digits wins this one.

Jacobsen isn't even the best point guard in the Fargo-Moorhead area. There is a sophomore guard at Moorhead High who is possibly already better. She has received a lot of interest from schools from all of the P5 conferences already. She will be a challenge to keep in the area.

St. Louis is another team NDSU beat 3-1 on the road this year. Should be a good match in Oct between the Bison and UND. It sounds like UND plays much better at home.

Say what you want about the Summit, but since UND has been in the BSC, the Summit has been better than the BSC in MBB, WBB and Volleyball.

So conferences are fighting over NDSU now? I thought NDSU was a school no conference would want?

Every woman athlete at NDSU on scholarship (they are at the max in all sports) is getting a scholarship and FCOA. Can UND say that? Are they fully funding all sports?

They are just trying to give UND all of the advantages they can, because they are going to need it.

The only chance UND has is if they play like they did against Wyo and they some breaks and NDSU makes a lot of mistakes. If both play their A game, the 3 to 4 TD spread is accurate.

Well, they may be stationing their extra security at the wrong location. With the possibility of some of the UND faculty coming to town, perhaps they should be posting the security at the day care center at the Family Life Center at NDSU. Those little kids may need extra protection.

You are right that UND didn't get plans together in a few days. They still don't have any idea how they are going to pay for it, which sports are getting chopped, or If they are going to pay for all sports. Faison was pressured by all coaches to announce right away to lessen the effect on recruiting. There is ZERO chance UND would have announced FCOA if NDSU hadn't announced when they did.

I don't know anything about the UND hit on the Montana QB last year. But the UND fans claiming the DeLuca hit on the Montana QB this year was dirty, what did you think about the UND D-backs hit on the Drake QB who was sliding in the second half on Saturday? They were identical plays. Was that hit clean?

I would lay the points if that is the spread. From what I saw today, there is definitely still a talent gap between the 2 schools.

If UND plays like they did against Wyo, NDSU by 3 touchdowns. If they play like they did against Drake, NDSU by 6 touchdowns. Wyoming just got killed by a historically awful Eastern Michigan team. That was Eastern's first non conference road win in about 30 years. That is an Eastern Michigan that would finish in the bottom half of the Missouri Valley FC. Wyoming may not win a game this year.

Nope. Have no interest in Wyoming. Hope they go winless this year. I was never a big Bohl fan. Good coach but too arrogant for me. Was glad to see Klieman take over. The better man won on Saturday (Bubba over Bohl). When the Bison aren't playing and I am in the car, I have listened to UND games the last couple of years. I liked Jack Michael's call. I did find it hard to listen to Sweeney though. I just think that perhaps some should dial it in a little after a win over a historically depleted MWC team. I actually think your close calls over San Diego State and Fresno State in recent years were more impressive than the win over Wyoming.

That Miller pick was before as Mike Berg said "UND shocked the nation" uwith their massive win over Wyoming.Now it sounds like he thinks UND and quite possibly 8 of the 13 BSC teams should be invited to the playoffs. They are definitely the best FCS conference in the country. Wait until next week when Wyoming beats Eastern Michigan. Everybody will be talking about how great that win over Wyoming was. Even though Eastern Michigan has the same number of FBS wins as NDSU since 2013.

You mean when they beat the defending Big 12 champions who went on to an 8-5 year (8-4 if you take away the NDSU loss) and beat Michigan in a bowl game 31-14? That cupcake?

Not exactly. He just says the Big Sky is already better than the MWC or any other G5 conference for that matter. And UND fans talk about Bison media people being homers. Miller and Sweeney set a pretty high bar.
