Do you have any high-res copies of that picture you could put up for download? I'd love that as my desktop wallpaper.

Although I've only lived in Grand Forks for 3 years (grew up in Moorhead), I swear I've been hearing the term "Grand Cities" for more than 3 years. At least it seems that way. It has never bothered me, though.

You won't have a problem getting side by side seats. The Ralph is running a buy one get one at half-price sale for the Tech series now so I'm guessing there are a ton of seats available.
This is sad. It's the last series of the season (except for first round games) and it'll be when we're (hopefully) clinching the McNaughton Cup for the first time since 2001. This place should be packed and rockin. I suppose all we get as even an option these days is "packed." I think "rockin" is against REA rules.

Tech Owns the McNaughton
UND Owns Tech
Therefore UND Owns the McNaughton
I like this one. And they'd probably let it in, too.

Now an honest questions: Has any team ever finished the season at #1 in the PWR, #1 in the polls, won the regular season for their conference, won their conference tournament and won the NCAA's??
The Sioux look to be headed in this direction.

As long as the video and audio are close. Cuz during saturday's wisconsin game they through the internet feed on the Ralph's big screen between basketball games and somebody said it was about 30 seconds behind.
-
I've never gotten the webcast before, but I am tonight. Do they broadcast it with audio? If so, what audio feed is it?

"Simply amazing" is the only way to describe his playing. Are you sure there were only 3 super-human glove saves? I thought there were 4 or 5. And you're right, the Sioux definatly would have lost tonight if it wasn't for him. Player of the Week for sure.

North Dakota's Brandon Bochenski (7) pokes at a loose puck in front of Denver goalie Adam Berkhoel (24) during the first period of North Dakota's 6-1 win Friday night, Jan. 30, 2004, in Grand Forks, N.D. In the background are North Dakota's Brett Skinner, center, and Denver's Brady Murray, right. (AP Photo)
Can't believe they missed that, especially since Murray had 2 goals, so his name was all over the article.

Well if these are the best refs......god have mercy on all of us.

So what happens if the Sioux win and Winona St. wins in first round. Who will host the 2nd round game? Both teams have only one loss, but in common opponents are UM-Crookson and SDSU. Both UND and Winona St beat UMC 59-0, but for SDSU, UND only won 25-24, but Winona St. beat then 30-23. Would that give them the edge for homefield in the 2nd round or is it figured out some other way?
-
As we have all been saying all along. Not ready, yet...will go in the first round.
Do ya think this means he'll stick around school for a few more years even after he's drafted?

I think they would make really cool hats and tee shirts.
My mom has a computer embrodiery business I wounder if there is a way we could get that
on a disk without breaking a copy right law...
You'd probably have to find some generic animated gopher. If you wore it to a gopher hockey game everybody would get the idea.

Here's to a great rivalry in 2003-2004. If someone has to unseat the Gophers, I hope its another WCHA school.
That's exactly why I was rootin' for the Gopher's after we got booted.

But as we all know, with a UofM/UND game, ANYTHING can happen. So if we can make it past Ferris State, we have just a good of a chance as UMN does.

I heard on on the screen playing (i'm in the band) just for a few seconds, but I'd like to see it anyway. Does anybody have a tape and video capture capabilities to e-mail it to me??

Any comments?

Every game at the Ralph this year there have been plenty of empty seats. Even the "sold out" games. Seats that are owned by the season ticket holders. I hope for the sake of the team, and everybody, that all the season ticket holders show up and we actually fill every seat in that place. That place would roar if we could actually fill it. Filling it is different than selling every seat. Maybe not the those in charge of accounting, but to the game, it's different.
Being the first post-season game of the new ralph, I hope that place rattles from the noise.

We really need to rock the house. That will always help. Too bad we're not in the old ralph where we could almost rock the building down.
-
Noterman works really will with ZP and BB. I think they should keep them all together. Spiewak, Lundbohm, Fylling also seem to mesh really well. I hope they keep them together. I really don't like how the lines keep getting shuffled. It doesn't give the guys time to get the feeling for each other. Just like musicians, after playing together for enough time they just KNOW what the other guys are doing, that's what we need our guys to do.

Defenseman? Did he shoot from outside the near circle? If so I saw that, and it was really cool. First NHL goals are always really cool to see.

RT also told the audience that the issue with the student seating has been resolved and decision about where the students will be moved to will be made public in the next couple of weeks.
What's the issue with student seating??

The 1024x768 should stretch to 1600x1200 with minimal (not noticable) degredation in quality. Just use the one he put up.
And to add, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. This is going to be a great wallpaper. Great shot PCM, u'r awesome.
