JP's talking about team defense. Where has that been tonight? They need to start actually playing their position. It's ok if the D-men don't score goals, we need them to play defense.

Makes ya wonder how many power plays the Sioux would get if they weren't as strong on their skates. Oshie alone could probably draw 10-15 more per year if he didn't always fight so hard to stay on his feet.

It's really hard to overlook the amazing senior leadership on this team. Having these guys around, (Oshie, Chorney, Finley, Duncan, Kaip, Bina), has got to be the biggest help for this team. They're leading on the ice for sure, and it's pretty apparent that they're leading off the ice as well, in an amazing way.

21 shots so far. At least they're putting the puck on net. That's always seemed to be a problem in past seasons.

The defense need to stay at home little bit more. Giving up far too many odd man rushes.

The Sioux ended up with 7 penalties, but still held them off the board on the PP. Unfortunatly, both goals came even strength. Maybe tonight they can fix that. Check and double check. Finley and LaPoint both get their first of the season. Looks like a good start, now let's hope they keep up the intensity for tonight for another two points.
