We got that Dac 10 problem now figured out, it would be nice to win a game against the NCC or even the NSIC....? Rich would certainly be a improvement over the last AD, Maybe someone should do some research on his coaching hires, and let me know in what year our overall record in these sports we can expect to win more games then we lose......?

UND Men Lose......73-65 to St Cloud. Frustrating game to watch, UND could have won if the boys would play sound TEAM basketball, and quit the showboating between the legs (meaningless) dribbling...? When they ran the offense, reconized the double team, hit the open man, they were successful. The turnovers were just plain stupid basketball, and trying to be the star. Line of the night..... #4 St Clouds...Dusty Wabiszewski.......(5'10" 160#).......11 Assists / 1 Turnover.... He made our more athletic and talented gaurds look foolish, with fundemantal basketball skills. UND only had 10 assists for it's entire team......? Need to learn to pass the ball.

That is not what I said, I said alot of fans blamed it all on Rich......I do not care who your Coach is, it is damn hard to win at North Dakota, It is about time some of you fans appreciate what we have accomplished and how hard it will be to get back there, and now we have to try and reach even higher levels.....?

You are better at research then me, or at least have a better memory....But other than the couple teams from 89 thru 92 at UND, has the NCC produced any regional winners on to the National Tourney....? I know both Metro and Winona have had some regional success, then Natl success, but were not both of them with some talent from overseas..(australia)....? Certainly I would like to be able to compete like we use to in the NCC (top half), but I was never convinced with or without Rich that we could compete on a regional or national level without some sort of transfers. Over 300 schools play D2 basketball, now we are moving to D1 where close to 350 schools play basketball......WE certainly have are work cut out for us to be competetive.....? It is going to be really difficult (imo) to get the talent needed at UND....

Jim, I was just pointing out what I believe to be one of several flaws in the system. I do not think there was a conspiracy to elect the New President. Flaw #1 -Would be the 3/4 majority vote, this in essence worked against the committee and allowed the the perception at least the 3-5 people could control swing votes. Flaw #2 - By way of this majority vote, This committee is hiring their own boss so to speak, with only Dr Kelley going forward it is highly unlikely they will vote down this canidate, but the State Board's choice is only yes or no, or re-open, so a power to play so to speak by the search committee, again poor perception. To believe that the members of this search committee have not formed allegiances to protect their own interests sort to speak, I believe is a bit navie. Why would they be any different then us as fans and supporters that back the person we think it best for the job, and get our friends to do the same. There were alot of interests at UND that were not respresented, by the search committee, but this flaw maybe always be unavoidable. I guess I just expected more from a committee of high educational professionals then to paint themselfs into this corner of critism. Forwarding at least 2 individuals to the State Board so they could truly make the final decision would have erased alot of this unanswered speculation....IMO Congratulations and Good Luck to Dr. Kelley!

It is possible that a aligance of 4-5 could have elected this President......? This committee really painted themselfs in a corner, either by accident or by design.

The only problem I have is the required 12 vote 2/3 majority qualification.... If 10 people can agree on two canidates, then it only took 5 people ( less than 1/3 majority) to pass on the one canidate. I am not saying that this happened, but if there was a academic aligenace of 4-5 committe members...? Have those 4-5 possibly selected our next President...... Think about it....... ? Two Canidates should have been confirmed to the State Board...imo
