So how much money did REA contribute to UND Athletics its first five years of operation, check on that and get back to me....? I believe Ralph had a different vision then the one that has transpired.

I am all for once in a lifetime events.....World Juniors, World Curlings, ect.... I just wonder what Ralph had in mind when he built the state of the art rink and practice facility, for the college hockey team he loved, and now again we will be using park board rinks to get ready to try and win a National Championship Title......? I'm sure the Broken Broom Lounge and Nightclub (olympic practice rink) was needed, because Grand Forks does not have enough Bars and Resturants for a couple of thousand people to use.... Would you mean the complexity of they had three managment people making more than our AD, that they took all our marketing, ticket, and concession revenues for our Major sport and gave us close to nothing in return for almost 5 years......Don't get me started on the Betty....? It has only changed because we have a honest guy now in Jody Hodgson running it, the best he can with Vegas's influenece.

There is a difference from quailifications on a resume' vs being quailified for the position.....imo The one person who can tie all together in terms of Coaches, Staff, Students, Alumni, Community, is the guy who has lived it and earned the respect of all those affore mention groups. The decision makers (administration) just need to give him the oppurtunity. IMO...That man has always been Rob Bollinger, I do hope he will consider and apply. Everyone else may have quailifications, but fall way short in relationships with the University of North Dakota when compared with Mr. Bollinger

Chad Lavin and the girls deserve this for their hard work, I hope they bring home the title...... The rivalary, I believe will be a good one Gene is going to have his hands full with Chad's replacement in Ryun Williams..

Perfect fit..... At a school that sresses Academics vs Athletics (less pressure on recruiting), Closer to Home and Family, Closer to his Lake Home, Gets a chance to do what he loves.....Coach Basketball and help young men grow.... Wouldn't this path be similar to Dean Blais's for similar reasons.....?

Ryan Williams from Wayne is a lock for the USD job, he is a great upcoming coach, will be giving the Sioux fits now at least twice a year....

Youngstown State 11/15....? Cal Poly.... They are working hard to fill one of the 3 open dates we have with a home game, but would perfer to not play a D2 or D3 school....Open dates 10/4, 10/11,11/15.....

Nothing is official yet....but close! I think Coach Mussman and Coach Mannausau did a Great job getting a schedule put together. You need to keep in mind they did this without any help, they are just begining to build some of their connections, we have a Lame duck President that I am not sure knows there a 4 qtrs in a football game. They have had no AD or Athletic Administration help (wonder if TB was here, could we get a open date with Army? or if RB was the AD wonder if Barry Alvarez would take his call?). In the years to come I am sure we will, with help exploit the D1 connections that Hockey has helped us build, with some Hockey and Football doubleheaders in early season. We also have to keep in mind that we have a Great program, believe it or not schools shy away from great programs, you think UNI is excited about what happen to them? Anyway my hats off to Muss and Mike for their hard work, lets hope we can get a 6th home game, or be that sacraficial lamb for some FBS team on the road, I know they are still working at it... Go Sioux!

I would look for a Maine trip in the next year or two Hockey - Football - Hockey....Charter packages and the works. Also for 08....I think we are still trying to get Cal Poly.... Cal Poly was fortunate enough to get a game with the University of Wisconsin and are re-working their schedule as we speak.......I think we have a contract with them, so who knows what will happen....? Look for a Future Home Potato Bowl Game (09?) with Idaho State a natural tie in like the old days....

Should be released soon not sure of dates, be nice to get that 11th game, but I know they do not want to play anymore D2 or lower.... Great job for the 1st year schedule if this is correct... without any AD or Adminstration help or connections....
