There are plenty of level headed recruits out there. Most recruits look at what kind of school it is and how their athletics are. Not so much the nickname. For example, the best motorcycle road racer of the last 10 years or so said he would never ride with tobacco sponsorship. But sure enough, Yamaha, while sponsored by a tobacco company, managed to sign him and he ended up winning the world championship there. And there are how many BCS teams out there? I am sure we will be able to find someone to play us every year.

This is really a bad deal. As much as I would hate to see a 12 team WCHA, it may have to be done. I would rather have a 12 team conference then lose more schools.

Well, the Sioux might just be able to do it. I have been thinking and saying that the Fighting Sioux might be able to beat my "other" team, Notre Dame. I wonder who is worse this year, Notre Dame or Minnesota? But yeah, I think the Sioux would give the Gophers a run for their money.
