    UND moving up?

Gee, with all of this emphasis on academic stats, perhaps we should have a Spelling Bee ... IowaBison can captain the Stream Yellow squad.

    UND moving up?

It's always amusing when the Prestone drinkers trot out "academics". I suppose the Stream Yellow crowd have been deluded into thinking that one D-1AA game has given the place any shred of credibility outside of the worlds of pig racing, tractor appraisal and outhouse decorating. Then again, I presume those rose-colored glasses are good preparation for the flood of red ink that the athletic department will start to spray.

    UND moving up?

    Much like 'SU, typo-boy.

    UND moving up?

That's nothin'. Wait until they take on those ogres from Nicholls State ... that'll be a "battle royale". Not to mention those playing those killers from Josef's ...
  5. My favorite Ziegler quote has 'SU as a "player" on the national scene. WTF is that guy smoking? If he thinks 'SU is on the national scene in FB or anything else, he needs to remove his head from Chapman's ass. Perhaps if the Fraud is going to diminish its coverage of UND sports, UND and its alums/boosters should respond in kind for ad buys, subscriptions, etc.

    UND moving up?

I know where I read it first... we've all been predicting it here all along. That UND won't tolerate being in a lower division from NDSU in the long run is so obvious it's barely conversation worthy.

    UND moving up?

As much as I hate to admit it, I have to agree with what Kolpack and even McFeely write. A number of things, including UND's ego, will force a move to D1 in the future, including pressure from the NC$$ to squeeze out larger D2 schools. I especially agree with the statement about SDSU. Excuse me, I have to wash my hands in boric acid ...
  9. It's a wire story. BFD. Since we're talking about the Kolpacks .... Wonder if the Stream Yellow crowd has tarred him, yet. Better yet, maybe they should save some money on those idiotic yard signs about D1, and get ready for a rousing battle with Alpo State.

    Ziggy

Perhaps Ziggy is better than a 4th string goalie ... at another school. If so, then we have a nice "problem".
  11. Yep. When I read it earlier, the article definitely stated Money had signed, not just that he was leaving school. Morons.
  12. Considering the Sens' site is updated through today, and has other references to other signings, I doubt USCHO's veracity, again. It would suck for Money if Ottawa decides not to agree to the terms he laid out before training camp opens next month.
  13. Doubtful. I seem to recall that Money was doing pretty well in the classroom. Moreover, maybe he wanted to take whatever, little, money he could under this CBA.
  14. Lucia has more foresight in bringing in talent wherever he can find it than Wooger, who tended to do his recruiting during the Minnesota hockey tourneys.
  15. Princeton Review also has UND in the top-357, again. Link
  16. You end up on the Six O'Clock news?
  17. Both the FTC and the FBI maintain sites that allow people to report incidents of "phishing". If indeed the admin finds that the person responsible has been masking as Siouxsports.com, I would suggest the matter be turned over to the appropriate authorities. Moreover, it is likely that the person violated his/her user agreements with their ISP, so they may be back on dial-up at some point.
  18. From a practical perspective, a seventh round choice, drafted by a club that really wasn't looking too weak at forward, doesn't have alot of clout, especially when every club has its eyes on the CBA expiring next month. Moreover, Ottawa has been reasonably active in the off-season. I bet Ottawa views Money as a "nice to have", rather than a "must have" especially with the next season in flux. I speculate that Money, and his "family advisor", have overplayed their hands with regard to signing, on both ends. He doesn't have the clout of a ZParise, PMart, etc. If Money does sign, it will probably be for a pittance, or he goes MJ for a year, again for a pittance. The problem with being in MJ or playing overseas, is that there's no guarantee any NHL club will ever watch you again. All speculation of course, this being the off-season, but I would love to see Money back for one more season.
  19. I agree. I think if Money returns, this will be "his team". ZParise is gone so the spotlight and hype is off the team, and we return some strong depth upfront. However, he's the center piece of the team, and if he leaves early, it's going to struggle at times, unless the younger guys like Stafford, Murray, Genoway and Porter really step it up in a hurry.
  20. WTF? When did that happen?

    Ziggy

The irony pouring from this post is just overwhelming ... "See Spot." "See Spot Spell."
  22. ScottM

    Goepfert

With his "fine" academic pedigree, I'm sure he'll be the top of his class ... before he locks himself in the can.

    Ziggy

So, he can ride it for another year at another school.
  24. Actually, what INCH being INCH meant to say, before their word processing software went crazy was, "After Fournier's goal, the UND crowd went mad with anger, climbed on to the ice and beat him senseless with their foam "Number 1" fingers, and then force fed him low-carb soy burgers."
