The level of athletes they have? Future nfl players? A highly paid coaching staff? I haven't been following uw closely this season but would be surprised if und had a stronger defense.

I'm referring to u dub. The team that beat ewu 59 to 52. I know they have a weak fbs defense this year but und is not at u dub's level at defense. One thing und may have going for them is the ewu offense may be missing some key components when they play.

I'm pretty sure washington's d would outperform und's.

If you can score you can be. Ewu put up 52 points against Washington and could have beat them.

Did midco ever intend on thinking big? Over the past couple years it was thrown around their goal was to become a rsn with one or both of the dish companies. Are their ad reps not capable of working with bigger companies? Maybe they don't have the travel allowance to work with some companies that have a bigger footprint? There are businesses in our area that do a lot of business both in and outside of grand forks. These businesses should have been targets. Or does midco as a company lack vision for und hockey on the midcosn channel? To me it appears midco's only real intention with their 5 year/$1 million investment was to increase their subscribers. The first reason we were given for no und hockey on fcs was because the CBS deal. Now that hurdle is out of the way it's uncovered that midco is holding it up. I hope the athletic department considered this when they signed the deal with midco. Did they consider the decrease in exposure that would happen? Was it worth it? Sorry for the rant. Just a frustrated fan with no access to und hockey:/

Does fcs blackout any college games? I doubt they would even if they could in this situation. Midco should realize that there are plenty of folks without access to their programming. Instead of thinking progressively and attempting to expand the footprint of their sports channel, they are using it as bait to get a few extra cable subscribers. I still don't like the deal where und signed over all rights of und sports on tv to midco.

In the past ten years, what percentage of former college hockey players have played at least one full season in the NHL? I don't know but I'd guess 5% of them do?

I can speak for myself on this. I don't bow hunt or own a muzzle loader....I was lucky enough to draw a buck tag in section 2b this year. I work Monday thru Friday so I will be out hunting on the weekends with 96.1 on the radio.

If you are in mn or eastern nd it's on the tpt mn channel. Should be on cable and dish. Also can be found with a set of rabbit ears if you are in the area.

Also if you are in mn or eastern nd and don't get the channel. Get yourself a set of rabbit ears and scan. Chances are you will get it. In grand forks you can get it on 3 channels with a set of rabbit ears. This would be for Saturday night. For Friday night I don't think anything fcs has been announced yet.

Personally I love the bemidji broadcasts. I think they do a great job and really like that they can be picked up ota where I'm at:)

Thanks for clearing that up. I know winning would help student attendance the most bit winning is left in control of the coaching staff and players. Winning games to a point is out of administration's control. Just brainstorming changes that could be made to keep he students there and get more there that are in und administration's control.
