Boy, nice speed, stick work, and possession.

Camera work good also.

I'm almost afraid to ask: How is Miami's cameraman? I have some pretty awful memories of bad camerawork, but it might have been Western Mich.

His skills are great. His work ethic is very good. You can tell he cares. He has come miles from where he was as a freshman, but it's as if his on-ice intuition has not yet fully kicked in. If and when it does, he'll really be a force, IMO.

Kawaguchi is much improved, but there is still more upside there, IMO. He hasn't turned his own, personal corner yet.

Wise words. And there will always be bad bunses. A good recruit will have the character to work through them. These people who think recruit walkabouts are just leisure activity had better sit up and pay attention, or we will be back to the Hakstol era before you can say "no banner."

Sloppy passing? Hmmmmm

Farce is right. Most of the gun violence is south side and among gangs about drugs. That's part of the pity--that people don't care as long as it's the other people who are getting killed. I have a daughter who lives and works not far from Wrigley who feels completely safe (and walks to and from work, often at night).

Well, I've watched football there in late December and froze my arse off. That's hockey weather, and it would be great.

Did they walk fast? Did they use the body on anyone? Did they walk the whole 60 seconds you saw them, or did they stand around part of the time?

I like the Chicago idea. Good rink options, easy fly-in destination, a lot to do in town, and we've recruited from that area in the past. Maybe fans would get a chance to see three former Sioux playing together for the other Hawks.

I heard he demanded Gino's Pink Floyd Wall album and Gino wouldn't go, but I may have misconstoned over the years. -

They had a lot of good looks on the PP, just couldn't put it in. -

I'm guessing he's been fired a time or two himself, and that's why he always goes there. -

The PP has actually looked pretty good recently, as far as moving the puck and keeping possession. A start anyway. -

Those two teams put a lot of talent on the ice between '80 and '84. -
He just wants to be loved. Is that so wrong?

Three great gift choices with Badgers: box with a head in it; dead fish wrapped in newspaper; horse head in the bed.
-
Blais had some pretty disappointing years.
-
It seems like this team shows very good stick work at times.

Tony was at UND between '71 and '75, so probably brothers. -

Having lived in Wisconsin for something like 30 years, I can tell you Badger fans have a lot of fond memories of the UW/UND rivalry, including the water bottle fight. It was an intense rivalry with more mutual respect than existed between UND and UMinn or even UMinn and UW. Plus, gopher fans don't seem as ready to have fun as much as Badger fans do, which I think takes the nasty edge off the rivalry. From my perspective, at least. Can't be there this weekend, but I hope the Hawks kick some arse. -
Dave K is not a hockey fan. Just a very needy guy. Love and hate are both acceptable for him because they both bring attention, and that explains his bit.

More like worst kept secret.
