Its coming, and all too easy to see the big-money big-city schools look to trickle down to hockey which tilts recruiting toward whoever has it.
Great teams , I think, can do both. But a heavy forecheck only works with great team chemistry and a speed advantage over an opponent you think is vulnerable. Trap is low risk and can be done with average talent.
And ignoring the rules as they are written. Even the ESPN guys were saying first UMass goal should be disallowed

I’m impressed with our own zone play as generally sound team hockey. Not perfect, but they have got it together.
