Looks like it was the final game of u17 4 nations cup yesterday. It looks like they sent the U17 from AnnArbor.

There is no penalty for checking a player with his head down - only for taking about 5 strides before you do it.
Typical Wisconsin - agitating and not being able to back it up and then whining after the fact.
AG apologists - question for you.
Did he get cut or did he quit?
I ran accross this quote today - a famous FB coach said "I don't build character, I help reveal it."
Enough said about AG

I wonder if we had more money we could have waited and gotten a better settlement (more years to gain tribe approval?)
feinhage could come next year if needed. He could probably make the jump - he's only an CSS A prospect.
Also, in case you haven't noticed, the league is getting younger. Look at all the Gopher recruits that are accelerating thru HS to get to UM early.
I think Ottawa liked what they saw during training camp - they kept him up untill the last minute. I bet he will be the 1st D up if there is an injury.
Saw the game at the John Sat. Kristo has wheels and is very good with the puck - he didn't mind the physical play either. He was definitely the most exciting forward on the ice for USA (sorry Jordan Schroeder).
I was surprised how small the U18 was - Jimmy Hayes was the only player who could come close to look Wheeler/Okposo eye-to eye. Even the D looked small. Their goalie Joe Cannata was great - I'm surprised he's not going to a big time school - he's going to Merrimack next year.
Brad links to the USA hockey site, which lists Nick Larson having being drafted by the Washington Capitals. That was the Hll Murray/Omaha/Gophers/I don't want to play any more Nick Larson. This Nick Larson is the Apple Valley/STA/Waterloo/CSS A player to watch Nick Larson.
NHL CSS Likes our recruits
(A) - Fink, Fienhage, Toews, Kristo
(B) - Gleason, Cichy
Also, one uncommitted USHL (A) player is Nick Larson, a teammate of Fink's at Waterloo. He played at STA HS last year and had a good state tourny showing.
