  1. Official checking the monitor to see if it is a flagrant
  2. SSSSSHuler for 3 and a foul on UNC. 35-39 UND
  3. Huff carried UND on his back the last two minutes.. playing inspired ball tonight. I hope it is infectious. On one possession alone, he drives the lane, gets two offensive rebounds before finally putting it in.
  4. These guys seemed to be a lot better when they were younger and didn't know any better.
  5. Announcers say Huff gained back all 14 pounds he lost.
  6. Huff's first shot since K state game is a 3 on target, with confidence!
  7. I know he was pretty upset at the flagrant that was called on one of his players yesterday. And then he really blew his top when a hands to the head foul wasn't called against SUU a couple minutes later. Could have been connected to that.
  8. You guys are brutal. For what he's getting paid, he's producing way more than he should be. Herald's lucky to have him. Schloss goes way way way way above and beyond for us, too.
  9. No, I said I never went over there. I wasn't speaking for all UND fans. I think a lot do, but, only a few actually comment from what I can gather. Over here, you get the feel that the Bunny, Jacks, Salukis, Panthers, BearKats, etc. (insert so-called "rival") message boards were all shut down and that there was nowhere else in the world to troll. Like someone said a bit earlier in this thread: it's like AC is playing UND every week. This is odd for a fan base (AC) who made it so clear to us that they'd moooved on. UND fans never claimed to have moved on; we only moved apart. Now that we are coming out of the desert that was transition, we yearn (and sometimes obsess) to compare ourselves to the competition -- in the Big Sky and across the FCS -- especially when the biggest baddest brutha at the moment happens to be on the same block. Most of us appreciate/tolerate most of your two cents -- but don't expect us to have to like it. I don't think your arrogance has escalated to that level yet. Sometimes it's a family discussion. Don't expect to be welcomed with wide open sympathetic arms.
  10. I never go over to that pasture they call BV. Is there trolling to this degree over there from UND "fanatics"? I'm talking on a regular basis -- not just a hit and run every so often.
  11. There's some major editorializing and a typo in that last sentence of your story. Ruined the whole thing for me. Shoddy journalism bites.
  12. Best answer so far from "the other side." I actually agree with this ...(and that the stature of one program is ginormous by comparison in importance to the other one -- may have played a role, too ).
  13. DL Nick Jacobsen (Prescott) WI. verbals to NDSU. UND and Pittsburgh were also interested
  14. Don't sweat it; they've been using the "Green and White" reference for decades -- way before the nickname controversy got nasty (as I demonstrated in another thread a few months ago); it's been "sticking" for years. They just do it more now because they can't sprinkle a few choice "Sioux" or "Fighting Sioux" references in here and there anymore, for obvious reasons. Just plug your nose, grin and bear it, I guess.
  15. and Golloday and Jackson and Townsend and McGill and Oliver and Fletcher and etc., etc. etc. JoMo is licking his chops already. This ain't Detroit Lakes anymore!
  16. Wayne Nelson's Herald reports suggests that they didn't shoot that well and they went 9 for 19 from the line. They had to overcome a 15-0 Drake run in the second half to put themselves in position to extend it to OT. Still Drake was going for the their fifth straight victory against UND and it was nice to see the ladies put a stop to that.
  17. I agree. What about RB Jake Disterhaupt, 6'1”, 185, Moose Lake (Moose Lake/Willow River), MN?
  18. There will be a moment of silence tonight for the two North Dakota National Guard Soldiers who were killed this week in Afghanistan and the one who is recovering from injuries in the same attack. Eric Linde, the son of Sgt. 1st Class Darren Linde, one of the Soldiers who were killed, is slated to be in attendance at tonight's game. I cannot be there tonight, but, I send Eric and his family my deepest condolences, and the same goes for the families of Spc. Tyler Orgaard, also killed, and Spc. Ian Placek.
  19. No worries... I am glad you took my correction in the spirit in which it was given... keep up the great work and go UND!
  20. As usual solid write-up and much appreciated, but I am pretty sure that Saul took the Bizon to the dance in 2009, not Tim Miles, since this is Saul's sixth season at the helm. Again, thanks for these great analyses, because no one else is doing it.
  21. I was at the game last night and Huff definitely looked a tad gaunt, like a stiff wind could put him down. I was hoping that he could continue strength training and low-impact cardio during his injury, but it appears that an all-liquid diet has taken more of a toll than I would have thought. When is the hex going to be lifted from this team? First Nash, then Huff, then Traylor, then Chad White and SDSU, then untimely poor FT shooting.
  22. This.
  23. Sadly, I totally agree.
