I watched the Rangers/Pens game Tuesday, and noticed Sid the Kid is wearing the "C". That means at least three Shattuck-St. Mary's alums are captaining their NHL teams: Crosby, Toews and Parise. Can anyone think of more?

Sorry. I thought I was replying to DaveK. I think copyright infringement has moved beyond the "common criminal" stage now, however. Some serious fines for sharing mp3s... I'd imagine sharing bootleg dvds is similarly frowned-upon.

The Sioux have a bunch of kids who've just had illustrated to them how difficult college hockey is. And how much faster, and more physical it is than junior hockey. The team needs to take a deep breath and regroup. They need to work really hard on their defensive responsibilities in front of their own goal. The missed passes are just timing; that will get better on its own. Be interesting to see how many Maine skaters are left untouched between the dots Friday.

That line won't be skating together in a month's time.
