Bridgestone Arena policy also shows face masks will be required. Explain that to me. If everyone is vaccinated or has a negative test, why face masks. Money back needs to be offered.

Are they offering ticket refunds, because the tickets weren’t bought under those premises. I have the shot, but don’t want a vacation not knowing all the places that are going to have stipulations.
  3. So this is what fans do. Utah State is saying they were shocked into playing and then after they were behind 21-7, throttled us 41-3 the rest of the way. UND fans say, if we only wouldn’t have taken down our own player it would be a different story. We need to get over the moral victory stage of our program. FCS teams are beating FBS teams more consistently, and teams a step above Utah State. Even mid level FCS teams can draw moral victories against FBS teams. Getting outscored by anyone at any stage of the game by 41-3 should not be something we draw comfort from.
  4. I look forward to the day when we are confident enough in our offensive line that we don’t have to rely on trick plays to score. Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice to have them in your back pocket, but would be nice to use them in game on the line situations. Those same plays that worked tonight can lead to getting in second and long or third and long situations if they get blown up, and we see how we performed when we get behind the chains. Obviously we needed them tonight to get the touchdowns we did get.
  5. So you’re good playing well 25% of the game. Usually the mantra is, we didn’t play a full 60 minutes.
  6. If UND beats the Bison, all is forgiven. If they don’t, well, it will just be considered business as usual.
  7. Hello Bubba, get your starters out of the game. If someone gets hurt now, it’s on you. Trying to be respectable now is dumb.
  8. I watched when we were at midfield and punted. Utah State turned and covered without even looking fake. I think at that point you try something to turn momentum. Bubba doesn’t get that. He thinks we are in Division 2 and can rely on our defense.
  9. You’re ahead 21-7 and you aren’t even in it at the end is disappointing to say the least. So we’ll hear we weren’t disciplined and missed some assignments.
  10. The fact that we don’t have any expectation against a team that was 1-5 last year is telling. Yes, they remade their lineup, but our experience should account for something.
  11. Hate staying up late with optimism only to end up with major disappointment.
  12. Wow, throwing the ball beyond the first down sticks, what a novel idea!
  13. How about we don’t try rely on our defense to make a stop and get aggressive again. Doesn’t help their discipline is failing at the worst time.
  14. I think their first possession coming off the half will say a lot. If they continue to pick us apart it could be hard to slow their momentum. Of course they really didn’t stop us either. Heavy dose of Weah going north-south and he is primed to break one.
  15. Yeah, when you try to torpedo someone instead of wrapping up, it leads to extended drives. Get off the field there you have all the momentum.
  16. Actually the NCAA felt bad that the Duluth goalie couldn’t even finish one game and a few overtime’s and decided he might need a day between should they run into the same scenario again. Of course DHG would understand being out of shape.
  17. I would say that years ago Alaska Anchorage had a chance at an Autobid every year when all the big names left the WCHA. Minnesota State took the ball and ran with that and took advantage. AA just kept on with business as usual in being below average.
  18. A while back the Herald said that they were adding 9 flights to Nashville out of Grand Forks between Allegiant and Delta. Did all of those flights fill up, or were they adding them as needed. I noticed when looking last night, there was nothing on Allegiant. Anyone have any suggestions?
  19. Basically AA and Alabama Huntsville have programs just to have programs. How can you ever hope to be competitive when your program is always on the chopping block. You basically are always going to get the leftover recruits that have no place else to go, because who is going to commit to a program that has had to tell their players to look for a different place because the program is being cut?
  20. I do think that they will be a true force this year, as they have guys that have that year under their belt and being that they are top NHL picks I'm sure they have been hitting the weights hard. Think how Sanderson and Kleven will look after a year in the system. Powers, Johnson, Beniers, and Brisson will be much more formidable this year than last, as we saw the progression of Sanderson after Christmas.
  21. Tufte hasn’t lived up to expectations, but it might be too early on Samberg, as he is in the top 3 of Jets’ prospects.
  22. We’ll see how UND does after losing a bunch of guys to the pro ranks. If UND falls back to where they were a few years ago, they may need to re-evaluate their philosophy. If you are going to lose guys all the time anyways, you might as well go with the reload route with top end talent. Not that you can just count on that, by witness on guys they have missed on. In the same token, the Michigan’s and BU’s may need to re-evaluate if they don’t take strides in the postseason. Ideally the reload could be with a combination of transfer and elite young players, but then you need to manage every year because both of them would likely only be there one or two years. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.
  23. We seem to do very well with defensemen, but don’t get as many top end forwards, unless we get on them early before they are considered elite. We should be set up to pull in our fair share of guys like Dylan Holloway and Kent Johnson in leagues we have been traditionally strong with. Hopefully guys like Dylan James and Bowden Singleton can develop nicely. It sounds like James will be in the USHL this year.
  24. Isn't it pertinent? If Weatherby is evil for leaving after committing to come in, shouldn't Montgomery be evil for ditching the team he committed to for the coming year? At least Weatherby is making some money.
