  1. If Bowen hasn’t signed his letter by now, that would say a lot.
  2. CC has taken healthy Duluth and St. Cloud teams to overtime, as well as beating Omaha, so I wouldn’t take them too lightly.
  3. Most teams can’t fill their own arena, much less have fans that travel.
  4. If you look a couple years down the road with Blake, Gaber, Perron, Singleton, James, Spicer, and possibly Panzer, that will be trending on the smaller side. Not saying the grit isn't in their games, but I'm guessing the coaches are trying to keep some balance as far as size, grit, etc.
  5. Frattin, Malone, Weatherby, Adams, Wilkie, and down the line, you better hope for more of a jump from your other classes than expect huge impact from freshmen. We have plenty of guys that can make that step, add one guy who surprises and you really have something if Blake can make an impact. That isn’t taking into account the transfer portal, which could be used if Berry thinks another year would benefit guys, and we know he values that when possible. Duluth and Minnesota have a lot to replace after this year, and some of their older incoming freshmen haven’t put up any better numbers than our younger recruits. I suspect Bettens, Steeves, Smith and Howard would be in line to come in for Duluth. Howard could possibly equate to Blake coming in, but I would guess the rest are typical Duluth guys that come in with little fanfare, but just play the way that Sandelin wants them to play and somehow find a way to get it done. We know where Sandelin got that philosophy. If we keep Schmaltz, Caulfield and Gaber together and get the experience jump from Kunz and Costantini along with Calder possibly staying, that is a great start. Jamernik has shown an offensive upside as well, and Budy has flashes too.
  6. Development wise it might be good for Johnson, but what happens if Covid strikes. I would say you can't have enough guys right now. Just look at Duluth and their goaltender situation.
  7. The Incline is no joke. Did it last summer, and in retrospect breakfast might have been a good idea first. Didn't know you needed a reservation, but perhaps that was just for summer due to Covid.
  8. You seem kind of delusional. What is your definition of elite scorer. Don’t think Berry himself would refer to anyone on that line as an elite scorer, hence Senden’s first two goal game since high school last week. Nobody is disparaging their importance to the team, but I don’t know anyone including themselves, would refer to them as elite scorers.
  9. Think most of the time a team is going to find a way to pull their goalie. Duluth had two chances against us last year in the regionals and they couldn’t prevent us from pulling Scheel, ditto for Boston College with two chances to prevent Goehring being pulled in the Championship game years back. In theory that is great, rarely is preventable at some stage.
  10. Also, Dylan James with a hat trick last night and Strinden with a pair.
  11. Nicholas Moldenhauer is another 2004 that is a B rated prospect. Was a 1st round pick in OHL draft, but had his rights traded. Not sure if he is interested in the OHL route, or if he is playing with Chicago to make sure he can play in his draft year, with Canada shutting down last year. Worth looking at anyway.
  12. You keep the pressure on and try score any which way you can. If a UND player did that and got all the buzz from ESPN Sportscenter we would be loving it. Thought the St. Cloud coach had Brodzinski out there on one too many power plays with the game in hand, but hey UND should have had a little more pushback in that situation.
  13. Michigan can be good, but they should have been swept by Western, and weren’t astounding against Notre Dame either. I think we can be competitive against any team if they get it through what they have to do to be successful, which should become apparent at some point.
  14. Still taking way too many unnecessary penalties that kept St. Cloud in it down the stretch. Thankfully they took even dumber penalties. Portz could have been the goat for spraying the goalie if the refs would have called it, and St. Cloud wouldn’t have retaliated. Also, no reason for Jamernik’s penalty. With a 74% penalty kill, or thereabouts, those can be killers. Other than that, great character win, especially giving up the early goal and late goal in the first period. Good mental toughness to rebound well from those situations.
  15. Tyson Dyck certainly has been a consistent scorer in the BCHL as a 2004. Hopefully the coaches are in contact with him.
  16. Wait, I don't see a Green Wave logo on that jersey at all. UND has hawks on it's shoulders. Someone better call the logo police on East Grand Forks.
  17. Why don't you post every other school's and we can see for ourselves.
  18. The whole idea of chains is that you are getting the same product wherever you go. Now in some cases that might not necessarily be a good thing.
  19. A sweep is a tall ask, especially since St. Cloud's coach said that they have been boiling about their sweep at the hands of Western Michigan when they last played two weeks ago. UND better be ready to go on Friday, because I think St. Cloud has been primed to take out some of their frustrations from that last series.
  20. Do you think we'll get away with the kind of trip that Minnesota did against St. Cloud in overtime?

Did Tibesar find a landing place after getting fired by Oregon State?
  22. There were a lot of times that we couldn't move the football even with Weah. I think he made some tough yards when we needed it, but now more than ever, we need to focus on getting our offensive line where they can have a consistent push. I think some of the backs we have now can get the job done with just a little more gap or push.
  23. …and the prima donna whines after a call doesn’t go his way the next night. Typical gopher arrogance and entitlement. I say that somewhat tongue in cheek, because it is the same kind of broad statement gopher fans use relating to UND.
