The fact that we have to play on the road at Omaha for the second time in 3 years, and the 3rd time on the road in 7 years explains the state of the program. Think about it, home ice every other year, when it was a given before. Berry is basically stealing money from UND with his salary and the lack of playoff revenue.

UND has won one Frozen Faceoff under Berry, and that was because of Covid and home ice. You watch just like Berry never takes advantage of regionals, now when the Penrose winner gets home ice throughout the playoffs starting next year, Berry will no longer win the league title. Time to look in the mirror and look at the poor state of UND athletics and hold someone responsible.

Some of these guys weren’t put in position to best utilize their talents. Schmaltz has given a lot of himself, but his role should have looked a lot different if we are being honest to the extent of his offensive abilities. I certainly don’t hold that against him.
