Title of both threads should be Doug Pederson taking Philly by storm because he has done a great job putting a system in place where both QB's can succeed based on their skills. Both QB's on their roster have out performed expectations this season IMO based on him putting the correct system in place for each. Foles just had to pick up on his in a few week span. A OC could learn a thing or two from him.

How good are your seats? How many do you have?
-
Yet he’s been on the court to close out our last two wins where the team has played better.
-
Why are you so angry? You seem happier when this team is losing.
-
He’s in a D1 rotation right now and wasn’t the worst player on the court the last two games.
-
Brown looked ok vs. Weber and NDSU. Not going to be a starter but he extends the bench a bit and can play key minutes. Will likely never start but plays his role well
-
Defensive effort has been night and day the last few games. The guards can get after it when they want to. Still struggle down low but ball pressure up front has been really good.

Would you rather have Streveler or Easton Stick?

It was a fun game to be at. Jones shortened his bench a bit. Made a difference. Team looks a lot different than a month ago. Not saying they turned the corner but they are playing well -
New York Times has a big sob story on UND dropping womens hockey
homer replied to SiouxVolley's topic in Women's Hockey
What was the playoff series attendance again for the last women’s hockey series? -
If it was a stand alone vote, not tied to new schools which were/still are needed in WF it would not have passed. Also, their goal was $4 million and if they hit $3 million it was by the skin of their teeth.

I must have different friends cause I don’t even hear about it much on Facebook anymore. Literally no one cares with exception of a few that try to be vocal. -

The second complaint I have heard of the program not being around this year and it came from New York. Most people around here don’t even notice they aren’t playing this season. -
So he question Kennedy asks is do you go with guy that has experience fundraising or go with the guy that has experience making fairly solid hires. I think you are both right that with our last AD and old athletic dept. structure the money wasn’t there to buy out anyone. I’m not sure that with schools our size a multi year buyout will be there in the future. Should be an interesting rest of the week.
-
Curious what the current coaches would want? I am not really buying full experience is that important. What if the incoming AD was a finance person in an athletic dept. Would that be acceptable? Technically not a title or associate AD experience. UND needs to identify what is most important to the dept right now. Each guy is going to play to his/her strengths out of the gate.

Just my opinion but for a while the leadership at UND had a personality that rivaled my kitchen table. Unfortunately for UND that was also the time money was booming in the state. On the flip side other schools upgraded facilities with $30 million and it looked like they spent half that. I don’t know who my leader is but am confident our current leadership has a vision of what he wants athletics to be and will hire someone who shares that.
-
Does an AD need experience/relationships? It’s definately helpful but is it needed. My opinion is you can surround yourself with that if needed. The next hire has to meet the need for UND. Right now that could be fundraising and getting the old guard to open the checkbook or new businesses to donate. For me a well thought out vision is key. Newly restructured dept. that has opportunity for growth

Officiating equally as bad in the NFL games today. Mistakes made in game changing calls. Bad day for officials at both levels. Potentially changes outcomes of games.
-
Two good teams but a bunch of very poor officials. Were they from the Big Sky?
-
Good game to watch. Two very good teams. If Bubba and Baucol want a physical football team, the bar is set high.

Your program is not in any better shape. Kick a kid off the team and than have a change of heart to keep the only scoring you have. Life lessons.
-
I actually somewhat agree with you.

Ultimately the question is what would you rather have since your club is calling the shots. Surprised you have no inside info.
