Playing well but both Cashman and Shanks just fouled out. About 5:00 min. left in the 2nd half. Going to need some shots down the stretch.
-
KSU up 24-21 at halftime. Pretty good defensive effort so far. A little rough on offense getting things set up without the point guard.
-
UND playing some zone defense and playing with great effort. Bigs playing well so far.
-
Care to point out the run UND is on? They are actually playing pretty good defense. That is causing some of the missed shots by K State. Not all "lucky" misses.
-
Don't start this !@#$ already. The team is playing pretty well for not having their top two point guards.
-
Not sure. I have it on ESPN3. They have looked fine so far. Running an offense, getting good shots.

The NCAA needs to move the FCS schedule to 12 games permanently (just like FBS), and force FCS schools to use the other 11 games to play other FCS schools (3 non-conference games). Use some of the same things they used back in the DII days to try and help come playoff selection time. Penalize FCS teams with DII wins.

There is one reason NDSU doesn't want to play in Grand Forks and it has nothing to do with where UND's program was at the last 10 years or where its going. Don't kid yourself.
-
Did it surprise when two of those teams had defenses who couldn't stop the run and offenses that relied heavily on making checks at the line of scrimmage?
-
I watched Minot multiple times this year outside of the championship game and the one thing I really like is their offense is so similar to what our offensive staff wants to run at UND and Bolinske ran/fit it very well. I'm torn on if we need a scholorship QB with this addition. From my understanding he was very set on coming to UND and if he is near the top of the QB board and you can get him with little to no money you take advantage of that. If there is a QB prospect you had higher and we are in the running for him than you bring in two. I don't know how the QB board looks but the coaches had plenty of opportunities to evaluate Bolinske and his fit for the offense.

Best way to draw better o linemen is show the current ones get recognized for the hard work. Congrats to Sean. Well deserved
-
No but I didn't thin USD was either. I'll probably watch.
-
I just think UNDs style matches up better with NDSU than Richmond. NDSU beat UND handily but it wasn't because they ran straight at them over and over. I'm not saying UND is a better team than Richmond but Stick would have actually had to thrown the ball vs UND.
-
Ours was young and got outplayed week 3. You don't think UND improved as the season went on?
-
You won't find it anywhere because no one ever said it. What you will find if one would dig hard enough is NDSU fans who wrote about going to a bowl game in about 2008ish when they were not playoff elgible. Weird that was ok at the time.
-
No he didn't see it anywhere on here. It just reads well when he types it.

What was the last guarantee paid to a non UND team for a non home and home?
-
There isn't enough out of conference games to accurately cross reference based on OOC games. I would be all for FCS adding a week to the schedule and again discount D2 wins to encourage teams to play out of conference schedules.
-
When comparing conferences, its hard because you can't confuse the strength of the top two or three teams with the overall conference. There may be a team or two in the Southland better than the top one or two in the Big Sky but overall as a conference it is tough to compare. I agree with Vince, its time the Big Sky steps up and not only wins non conference and playoff games but pounds its chest a little louder about FBS wins, etc.
-
After watching Montana St on Wednesday night in Fargo, we will match up with them fine. I haven't seen Weber, Idaho or Sac St. but on a neutral court I think the conference tourney is wide open.
-
I think NDSU in the dome is tough to beat. Very tough on opposing offenses. Hard to compare entire conferences.
-
I understand what you meant. I just thought they had a couple games left.
-
Things change a lot for freshmen when they get back after break. They become more part of the team and start competing for playing time. I would urge any freshman to stick it out and give it a chance.
-
I'll disagree. It wasn't close to half full. Weather was a factor there as well but they likely had more students sticking around for tonight.
