So I'm sitting here at work in the Union, not really doing much of anything and then Coach Hak walks right past me to a kid sitting on the couch watching tv. Apparently we have another recruit in town tonight. Hak asked how they did last night and he said that they lost. I didn't get the chance to read his entire jacket but it was black with white writing (like that helps) and said Elite in the largest font with a few words above and below it. He was tall, but not huge, about the same heigh as Hak. Dark hair, short, kinda a buzz cut. Any ideas who?

I know it is a young team... we were also a young team last year too. With the combination of graduation and early departures, I feel like we will always be a young team. And even though we (and other teams) may be young... they boys started playing hockey when they were really young... I'd venture out and guess that many of our players have been playing for more than ten years. I realize that the transition between juniors/high school/where ever else and the WCHA/NCAA is huge... totally just lost my train of thought, there was going to be a but after that, but I think I might have ruined my own point or I just forgot what my point was... Either way, LET'S GO SIOUX! Pick it up tonight boys

I have a feeling (or at least I hope) that tonight will be a VERY different game than last night! We should be hungry tonight, get embarrassed is one thing, but getting embarrassed at home is a whole different thing. Hopefully one of th captains stepped up and said something, although after last night, I'm not sure anything needed to be said. We can't keep using the "we're young" reasoning forever, because chances are that we are always going to be young. If there ever was a time for the entire team to step up, now would be it. I vote we put last night behind us and start to think about tonight... let's get out there and get on them early. Don't give up and don't let up! We have to get on them early and keep fighting, don't take ourself out of the game.

I didn't think what she told me sounded right, but I wasn't gonna keep asking because at that point in time I was still pretty pissed about the game...

My suitemate saw Toews last night out to eat after the game. When I asked her about his arm she looked at me confused and said this his arm appeared fine but he was limping on his left (?) leg...

Or we could wait until tonight's game, check out the bench during warm ups and see if we can figure it out

I've read a few places that North Dakota would be Soley's number one pick... any idea why? Does he have any connections to UND? Good coaches and great arena?

My ice skating class started today and Coach Eades is the teacher. He noticed my Madison sweatshirt and commented that they were talking to a recruit from Stevens Point this past week. Here is the little info that I have come up with: Steven's Point Area High School hockey roster Best Boys Hockey Players at State (WI) Anyone know anything about this or have info on Steven's Point hockey players?

So what do you guys think? Genoway as forward or defense? I noticed on Friday night he started the game as defense and then moved to forward... I'm not sure but I think he was playing just forward tonight. Anyone with more insight?

At least it's not only our names that they are screwing up... I was at the game last night and it was definatly a great game. I didn't see what happened to Skille, so I can't comment on that. Carlson's injury was that when he was out near the blue line and somebody came in and clipped him and he fell to the ice? That's the only instance I can think of... Also a question for the fans that watched it on tv... between the second and third intermission I could see that they were interviewing Oshie just off the ice... the entire time he was being interviewed the Badger fans were being really rude and taunting him... I believe they were saying a$$hole, but can't be certain. Did anyone see this on tv? Let's hope for another great game tonight, with another Sioux win!!!

Skipping my Friday classes and my parents are flying me home for the series. The way they figure, it's cheaper to fly me home for a weekend, then for them to drive to GF and stay in a hotel for a weekend. I'm not gonna argue that one!!! LETS GO SIOUX!!! Having lived in Madison since I was two, I'm sure I'll take a lot of crap from my friends for wearing all my Sioux gear... I can't wait

I definatly think that Remember the Name should be part of warm ups. I'd have to agree that the entire West Regional was a blast. I also like the Fri night game last season against Denver where is just felt so good to beat them after losing to them in the Championship game (we'll just igonre the loss on Saturday)
